I feel you completely :-)❤ sharing the carrot treats with all your babies is precious ..Just wanted to share one tip if you want it. I buy 25 pound bags from the produce department ..their bits and pieces but they’re perfect for the animals if you haven’t already done that…My tip is “bite a piece of carrot off “ and hand it to the animal take another little bite, hand it to the animal it’s so precious and so sweet you can give as tiny piece as you need or as big a piece as you need. Now for Roman, that would be another whole story lol love you, sis you are precious.… This time of year you don’t even have to keep them refrigerated. They’ll be fine outside in a cool place.

We spent ours visiting with my mom in the hospital she was taken in by ambulance on Dec. 22nd with fatal level hypoxia (o2 saturation of 54%) from low iron, influenza A & a small blood clot in her lung so we didn’t have Christmas yet. Thankfully she’s on the mend ❤️‍🩹 & is coming home tomorrow Dec. 30th

And I'm not surprised that Pickles loves carrots - I mean eat anything Ringo is his daddy after all lol 😆 And as for Mooseph - he's eaten plenty of carrots 🥕 with daddy Lester, the horses and donkeys. As for Oreo getting out - I betcha he learned that from Moo, because I had a memory flash back to when he did that back at the Sanctuary 🤦‍♀️ Seeing Moo really brighten my day. As for my Christmas - I've had better - I spent a good chunk of it recovering from being really sick 😷. Take care and have a gr-8 night 🌙!

I have many horses that dislike carrots (I have many that love them as well). the ones that do not like the carrots do like the green tops of them though, maybe try that with Barbie. All of my horses do love alfalfa cubes as treats.

Moo was the one who used the big bush for scratching and broke it a few years ago. Your dad had to trim it down because of where it broke. Try looking for a long, skinny carrot for Pickles. It wouldn’t be as hard for him to chew through. Tigger loves his treats, maybe a little too much. Maybe try a slice of apple for Barbie. But you need to eat it in front of her.
