I can tell you one way you didn't even think of because it happened to us. We used to have a popup camper well on one occasion it was our anniversary and we decided to go camping by ourselves and enjoy nature and some peace and quite well we were in such a hurry to get to the nitty-gritty of being alone we forgot to put the stabilizer jacks down well guess what gravity took over and when both of us went to get on the bed the whole camper flipped strait up sending me and my wife right down to the ground laying there laughing our butts off with nothing but a smile on so now I have to try and get out of the window on the bottom run over pull down the unit and get back inside without anybody seeing me. Guess what didn't happen, and 10 minutes later, we got a knock on the side, and they didn't even let me explain they said they didn't want our type in their park. The moral of the story is don't forget your pants!!

My Dad didn’t put our stabilizing jacks down when I was a kid. We had just gotten a new pop up and the site we were on was nice and level. Well, I came running in the camper with some kids I had met and jumped up on one of the bunks. The camper went flying up, there was a pot of oil on the stove where Mom had made French fries and oil went all over the place. I don’t think Daddy ever forgot the jacks again! Not as racy as your story, but funny now. 🤣

You gave me and my wife a great laugh! We were once thrown out of an RV park because we decided to water the parched lawn around our camper with the water from our fresh water tank so that we didn't have to go down the road with the extra weight. Within minutes management and a host of people with nothing better to do crowded around us yelling that we were polluting the area because they didn't know what was in the water. Actually, they did know because it was their water in the tank. Even after I filled up a glass and drank it they kept saying it was black tank water. We thought we started hearing banjos so we packed up and left. No refund for the rest of the nights paid for and an escort out of the park. This was around 1999 or 2000 and after we left we made sure anyone who asked about campgrounds knew that that campground was unreasonable. End of story is that they threw so many out for so many unreal reasons that within two years they closed and the property was abandoned. I think if it rained they would kick God out for polluting.

My son "inherited" my parents 2000 24' Dutchmen 5th wheel camper when my Dad passed. It was used maybe 6 times, and sat in an out building for around a decade. My son and his significant other keep on top of it, and have done some updating to it. We go camping in Lewis and Clark state recreational area in Yankton and North Point state recreational area in Pickstown, South Dakota. We haven't had any issues with people while camping in these parks, and we bring a lot. A camper, a boat, 2 jet skis, and a golf cart that has a dune buggy body. I'm sure some places do frown upon bringing electric powered scooters and golf carts.

Been to hundreds of RV parks. Most campgrounds let you know what the rules are. If there is a camp host or ranger, it will be to their discretion, if they ask you to leave. I can understand why parks dont want utubers, or want to keep tabs on them. Common sense has gone the way of the dinosaur. We have been to hundreds of parks, never had a problem. Know the rules before you go. Happy trails❤

so far in over 20 years of camping I've never been asked to leave or denied an available campsite. However I've seen each and every one of the situations described except for the 10 year rule and youtubers. Mostly I've seen disputes with self-entitled or just plain rude people or people with really obnoxious pets. Occasionally someone who has a fire when the no-fire rule is in place which on the west coast is a real thing.

Also to add a comment about RV park filming, you can add KZbinrs who do not get work permits / Visas for Canada or Mexico. They are working (filming) in a country other than their native USA and have not taken the time & effort to get the necessary permits to do so. There are three channels I currently watch that are either in or passed through Canada (on the way to Alaska) who blew off my comments on this subject...
@liferedesigned4 ай бұрын
So it is most likely because it is a grey area. We have filmed in Canada as KZbinrs and when we asked at the border crossing into Canada we were told we did not need a work visa as we were not being paid by a Canadian company. Is it right? Probably not but we asked. Most likely you are not getting responses because they don't want the liability lol. It does go both ways though, A lot of foreign KZbinrs come here on vacation and film content without permits. Great topic though!

The first one gave me a good laugh. But when you have kids, especially younger ones things do happen. We were camping on the 4th of july one year and our old family area that we had camped at for 4 generations was packed. But because we had camped in that area for so long i knew a spot that was open as no one else realized it was their. Dad called it wild camping because nothing was there but the ground. Now they call it dry or disprest camping. That area onve people found out about was very popular and right on one of the best sandy beaches. Gramted we had arrived late in the dark. People were camping on the road it was so popular. Being s very Old Hand at setting up camp it wasn't a problem for me to get everything set up. From tents to the kitchen and of course our bathroom/storage tent. I even hung the lantern's up on ropes. The next morning while cooking breakfast a gitl that was looked 7 or 8 propped out of tent topless and got between their tent and our camp site. She pulled off her bikini bottom and used the bathroom right in front of us. She didn't even bother to put her bottoms back on as she walked off. It wasn't two or three minutes later a boy of maybe 8 did the exact same thing but he was nude when he popped out of the same tent. Four more kids both boys and girls, totally nude did the same thing. Come to find out the group of three or four families had told the kids where to go when they needed to go and it was right beside our camp site. The youngest was a girl of around four and the oldest was a boy that looked 16 or 17 and had no problem going totally nude. In fact for the four day weekend i think we only saw them half dressed twice. Later on in the day when the adults saw a boy of 8 or 9 pop over by us and pooped did they tell them not to do it so close to us. I introduced myself and my son's and told them the kids could use our tent bathroom if they wanted too. Also that mudiy was not problem at all. My wife and i slong with our boy's enjoyed going nude our self. It was a interesting four days to say the least. We had taught our boys to be much more discreet about things. But those kids had issues with doing their business a few feet from us not knowing us from Adam. We always had a privey and carried our waste out with us. Thats just something you don't want to step in not knowing it was there. Besides we had always been sanitary about that and carried it out with us. We normally tent camped in that area as getting a RV into that area was tricky with all the white sand and sharp narrow turns. The thing i hate most is people who party late into the night. They always seem to have loud music never thinking others might not want to be blasted out half the night. Some folks just do not think anf when they it doesn't include anyone but then. It's not very hard to be a considerate camper. But it does require people to think of others not just themselves. If you bring it in you carry it out. Always leave a area cleaner than you found it. As a kid our families camped in that area for a month to six weeks. So i know how to camo like few others do. Thanks for a thoughtful topic and a good laugh as well as a walk down memory lane. By the way you filming in so many areas was neet and different. A great job over all!!

@@liferedesigned yeah the road was only graded once a year. Then the country started grading it a couple of times a year. As a kid dad even took a lawn mower because it was a plot of ground. No nothing. Setting up a camp site to run for four to six weeks is much different than for four days. But we always left it better than we found it. Really liked this video!

@liferedesigned4 ай бұрын
All National Parks require a permit to film in as of a couple of years ago last we knew.
@montanateri68894 ай бұрын
They don't allow film crews to come in without a filming permit, ie, documentary filmers or news crews. Campers, day trippers, can film on their little movie camera or on their phone. Heck, most of the tourists who are caught behaving badly in parks (Like walking right up to a buffalo) are turned it the rangers via the video visitors are taking with their phones. Helps the rangers to arrest and or fine the bad actors. Just because the buffalo or Elk didn't charge at the dumb tourist and kill or maim him when he was baiting him, doesn't mean the park won't find out what he did -- and they really take the regulations about how far you have to be from a buffalo seriously, and will fine you and kick your butt outta the park. See, they have a little thing about people dying in the park just because they are stupid, as that gives the park a bad name. Kicking them out & a large fine is a good thing.

Really would depend on the state and the rules of the individual parks. We have been in Michigan where it is legal and seen it not allowed, We have been in NH where it was illegal but was allowed at the park. Our advice is to always keep your stash to yourself!
@alanlough6384 ай бұрын
@liferedesigned Thanks for your reply to my question. I always keep my stash to myself, as I'm a firm believer in keeping my stash to myself and don't want to get busted. I'm just curious to hear what you had to say about it. Here in WV, it's only legal for medical, and it's illegal to take it with you in WV campgrounds and rv parks, and state parks anyhow, even when you have the medical card for it.

We used to be big proponents of gummies (no smell) now we recommend vape pens. This allows you to be discrete and still very little to no smell.

Lettuce may be legal in all forms in a State, but it’s still illegal Federally. So any Federal land it will be illegal to have or use. Cruise lines are having a hard time getting people to understand this right now, as all ports are under the Federal Government. (Not to mention it being illegal in every non US port you stop in) Carnival cruise line now has dogs sniffing every piece of luggage before it goes onboard!

Hi Bob and Kerri, We are much older than you to (late 60's and 70's) and I have a wonderful, well behaved, Service Dog (not an emotional support dog) a German Shepard. I have the Prescription for him and the Doctors Order for him in my phone. Per Federal law, Service Dogs are not required to have any markings, as such I never have him wear a vest or anything. I have Never been refused admittance to an RV park but I have had an occasional restaurant unlawfully start trouble. Business by Federal Law are Only allowed to ask TWO question's, 1, is it a service dog and 2, what service does it provide. Most businesses do not know the law. If they did, my answers would be yes and he alerts me if I am believed to have my medical issue detected by my dog. Each time I have had an issue we refuse to show any paperwork. My medical diagnosis is none of their business, I stand firm on that and HIPPA Law is clear on this). I call the local Sheriff and refuse to leave, the business cannot have you arrested for trespass if you refuse to leave. We let the business make all the trouble they want (if they want), while we wait. I will video them on my phone if they are trouble makers. If the issue is resolved civilly, we eat there after the Sheriff explains the law to them. If after the sheriff explains the law and they are forced to admit us and they are still nasty and I think they would spit in our food I will waste a more of their time, get seated, have a beverage relax for a while and then go elsewhere after we are ready to go. It is unfortunate that I have my issue, but I will not discuss my disability with a restaurant and they deserve what they get, including some farts, or a nice belches if I can bring them up while we wait and an honest review.

He rejected a plea deal to get his case dismissed if he deleted his content on KZbin. He had paid for a permit to video in the park. Strange that video content would even be on the plea deal selection? So now he has a criminal record for camping. Wow...

All i can wonder is how many people in the trailers behind you are waiting to film their you tube channels, i have never seen so many you tube channels for rving, far more than anything else. 10 yr rule is BS, the best value for class A is 2009 to 2013 they're down from 350k to 79k and are better than anything new, been turned down, my brother with his 2023 has been asked for pictures, he sent one of his US Marshal badge and went to a different park. Its time to list these 10 yr parks in on a website and then boycott them, i can see rvs older than 2000 but newer is stupid and time to go after their money, their property taxes are so high a couple days of boycott they will be gone. Also ive been denied on my service dog for his weight, i called the ADA, and when they found out the US government spent 6k on training my VA service dog, they were fined 125,000. MT SHASTA, was the park. WOW, and the parks will be in trouble in a generation because this generation filming is all they have, without they're uneducated people walking around with extra large thumbs.
