Hello Lee, thanks for watching and commenting. We do boondock, and most of the time we have had cell signal. In the video we mentioned that we traveled to Alaska through remote stretches of Northern British Columbia CA and Yukon Territory CA and we still have a starlink for situations like those. We have the ability to boondock with our solar setup, but we have children and choose to not boondock remotely all the time. Hope this answers your questions.

Hello Larry, thanks for the question. We average between 40-50 Mbps download and 10-20 mbps upload. We currently only have the 4g modem. They do offer a 5g modem that we are looking to test out. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I use Starlink, which has been 99% great! But I do need a back up for those heavily wooded areas. Is that device a cell booster too? We were going to get a We Boost. Should we get both??

There are no contracts with this as well, so you could supplement how you'd need, when you need. We have never used a weBoost so I can't speak to that. They do not advertise that there is a booster built into the modem, but we have never had a problem picking up a signal. Hope this helps you guys, let us know if we can answer any more questions.
