I am a 55 year old woman born with CP and I have had a very good life. I got married and had 3 amazing boys (who are completely healthy). But my childhood was challenging,but my mindset was “This is what I have to deal with, and I might have to do things a little differently than you but I’ll do it .” Happy to hear Layla is out of the woods!😊

I was diagnosed at 18 months old with CP. It only affected my legs. I was in PT/OT for many years and my parents put me in activities that helped strengthen my legs. I am now 49 and I have lead a normal life. I was a firefighter and very active my whole life.

@@terrirobinson3876 Terri I am talking from experience because I am a single parent and when my children were younger I had to take all my children with me for I did not always have someone to look after my children while I took myself or one to appointments. It is very much possible that Cam and Shaylee both wanted to be there and had no one to look after Scarlett. Your comment was a bit of a judgement and that’s what I was responding to. There is nothing more annoying as a parent when you have others telling you what to do!
