That was a pretty awesome way to counter a cheese. I also really liked how Jae used one viking to snipe a bunch of overlords, supply-blocking okie who was forced to make 5 more when he really needed units. The same viking was at the end there harassing mineral lines too. GGWP Jae.

Yeah, if I had one word to describe Jae's play it would be efficient. He maybe didn't capitalize on every opportunity or have perfect micro, but he lost very few units relative to the amount of work they were doing for him. His medivac:offensive unit ratio for instance was very high, which on at least a couple occasions let his ghosts survive being hit by tank splash while being nibbled by zerglings.

A note: Ghosts use the C-10 Canister rifle, so it's not technically a sniper rifle on normal fire. it's got the ability to snipe (presumably with an attachment), on regular fire it shoots 25mm antipersonnel rounds

Jae has the basics down, and put it to work. Going ghosts was kind of weird to me, but I guess it worked - not sure if the zerg player had his basics down being supply blocked for so long...

He had moved too many of his overlords across the map. I suspect he forgot to mind his rally point, as this made it easy for the one Viking to knock out so many of them without having to worry about Queens defending them.

Solid cast, as always gents, one question though. As a result of the latest patch did it mess with the replay’s spectator view? I noticed when Jae was killing Zerg that you would see the exp points pop up on screen and that seemed to give away who was going to win.

The Ghost are armed with what is ostensibly a 25mm VSS/AS VAL, the cool Russian integrally supressed sniper rifle/assault rifle used by Russian special forces. iirc Its name translates to like "special automatic sniper rifle"
