The disruptor takeovers were absolutely crazy! Haven't seen that in a pro match
@rocketrelm1125Ай бұрын
Usually because top level pros don't leave their Disruptors and armies unattended long enough for that to work, but it was hype to see go off regardless. Harstem got some sick Disruptor shots. "Wasn't he playing Zerg?" "Yes."

genuinely i sometimes get emotional about the classics, the stuff that started in sc1 and were iconic from the first days of wings. 'zerging' gets used by friends who've never played starcraft. it's the most iconic cheese of all time.

imagine the morale when you pull all your workers for a last push and the enemy workers and yours are running towards each other both knowing the artillary is already halfway upon them etc xD
@gabydewildeАй бұрын
I think you need a macro hatch not a proxy. Back when it was called a 6 pool you could support ling production with the 6 drones. With a 12 pool you should be able to support 2 hatchery production. That second game, I think him pulling 6 probes to fight the hatchery means you have twice as much workers mining and a way bigger army? I think that means you can comfortably macro for as long as you can keep the probes busy without losing lings. 1 minute fighting with 6 probes is costing him 6-7 probes worth of minerals. Should just let him fight the hatchery with everything and enjoy your macro victory.
@andrewadami3920Ай бұрын
I agree. Harstem pulling his own workers only justified the opponent's decision to pull his workers. If those workers stay at home, he can take a natural and eek out a slight lead eco lead. Cuz we both know the Toss wasn't mining any gas in a situation like that.

@@andrewadami3920 I like how he said it is never a good idea.
@andrewadami3920Ай бұрын
@@gabydewilde exactly. He basically contradicted himself. The only exception is when the Zerg also pulls his workers. Ironically, he saved the Toss by 'pulling the boys' retrospectively.
