If you've visited any NJ shore town in your lifetime, the likely-hood of paying a visit to Cape May is pretty big. Cape May is the quintessential family friendly shore town that offers beach, shopping, MANY things to do and see, and history. From the original bed and breakfasts to hotels, to Airbnbs, there's always a place to stay, but you need to book early and sometimes even "off-season" if you want to be competitive. Why....? Because they get 50,000+ visitors a year.
And speaking of "off-season," the residents of Cape May and even the business owners would dispute that statement as they never shut down. Whether it's a hot summer or a snowy winter, the town is such a national gem, visitors come year around which makes the business district and real estate market strong.
