If you think Spain is expensive, try and visit Switzerland. The application process alone is frustrating but nice and expensive destination.

Interesting vlog. Spain can be strict with their visa. I was denied 2010. Spain is expensive, France is also expensive. I don't know how to pack light, so to be on safe side, i always pay for additional bag with Ryanair and easyJet to avoid paying extra at the airport. Ryanair flew me to Cornwall last summer.
