Konyaks are the best and the earliest gunsmiths in nagaland. Some even claim they had gun/invented guns before the English, but i doubt that. They can manufacture gunpowder, the trigger mechanism, butt stocks and weld together the parts required for a gun, but they do not have the technology to make the barrel. In the earliers days the gun barrels would be sourced/ bartered from burma. Nowadays mostly steering rods from scrap vehicles are used as gun barrels. Now im not an expert so someone can prove me wrong.

White powder is called suhaki or suhaga which r used by Goldsmith for weilding purpose n for strong weidillding u must add brass metal with suhaki
