I marveled at the mine like you wondering where did all that timber and lumber come from? Imagine hauling that in, in a 1930's - 40's flatbed truck. And the steel gears and cable, plus a seasoned crew who knew how to build that big structure in God know what kind of weather. WINDY? Caroline steels the show with her wonder in all the things she sees. You know? My mechanic brushes his teeth while working on my truck. Says it makes for good auto-hygiene. Thanks for taking us along. Good fun.

I own a pair of mountain lights. Excellent boot. I wear it year round. The key to sweaty feet issues is good socks. I use Darn Tough socks from Vermont. They have a lifetime warranty. A high percentage of merlino wool is recommended. No kidding wool in summer.....I have had a lifetime in boots, get a pair and trust me. (Plus if the stink is strong, with these socks you can't go wrong)

Aussies call them blunies! Pair the bludstones with the darn tough merino wool socks and it will keep your feet dry and comfortable on the trail! Cheers and keep up the great videos! I first experienced Danner boots by way of their RAT boots for my Afghan deployment in 2014. I wore this one pair of boots every single day, in garrison and the field, until 2016 when the leather ripped. I probably walked / ran 200+ miles over than time span, from Afghanistan, to the Sierra Nevada mountains in northern california. They are amazing boots, and 100% worth the cost. I wear their leather chukkas almost every day in the winter and I love them.

Enjoyed the episode! Kevin, we know your near. When your "Squeaky Clean" reputation precedes you. Pun intended. "Danner Boots" have been a long time brand. That I still use to this day. The "Fort Lewis" and varied hiking models. An excellent piece of kit. The music selection was awesome, too. Cheers, Mate.

I've also seen them den up for winter in the tunnels. Just something to keep in mind when exploring up there. Am looking forward to your next video, as always, stay safe and have fun. Oh, and ticks..
