Nothing wrong if single seniors want to settle down and share their lives. Here, surprising element is Anshika's attitude. A US-studied student was expected to support this decision. However, Ritwik was more forward-looking with liberal attitude towards settling down of his father. In fact, although we can call this a "marriage" but it is rather a "needful companionship" necessary/urged by seniors for happy & fruitful years. What is Society? We all make this society, so if we favor & support something, society starts doing the same after a little bit of hue & cry. Hats off to Ritwik. As usual Life Tak is on the forefront; all actors are on top, especially Nirupama Ji, just like her drama days.

Yes, it's difficult for us young lot to understand this. But we Must think and understand that if for example one of us young people Never married till our late 40s or any mishaps like divorce happens in our lives, we feel lonely and need a partner to live life and share life's small chunks of Happiness so does the case with our parents. They have settled us- as a single parent for some reason but now they need company and it's completely natural and O.K....
