@@bananabrainsproductions I'm literally watching it over and over just hypnotized by the armies of identical mad-scientist Neal Cicieregas rocking out in the lab. the "don't eat the cadavers" sign, "Notice: Thank you for noticing", undead Michael realizing what he's become after he sees the image of his child self, Katy Perry's hair getting stuck in the one guy's mouth (ROFL), the mad scientists doing the three wise monkey pose during their "oh no"s, the way the quote changes at the end - it's all so well-thought-out. it has the same kind of whimsicality + creepy and disturbing vibes that the Severence intro sequence gives me. (not that they're the same at all! just similar vibes.) and everything fits the music perfectly too. thank you for spending so much time on this and then putting it online for us all to enjoy.

OH MY GOD THAT IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Lifetime achievement award is probably my favourite song of all time and THIS VIDEO only enhanced my feeling towards the song. I absolutely love all of the imagery in the video. Just incredible work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was amazing! This was my first time hearing this song so to find out it’s about Micheal Jackson’s plastic surgeries fought me off guard a little. How did you get so smooth animation of 3D space in 2d? Did you animate over 3D models? Or was it all done by hand? Very visually striking and you captured the Frankenstein movie vibe perfectly! Great job!

Thanks! I animated simple base 3D models in Blender then rotoscoped them in Sketchbook Pro (I probably ought to use Krita instead haha). That way I can experiment with camera angles, get the perspectives right, and spend more of the 2D animatin' time focusing on details, expressions, etc.
