Lifetime Achievement Award - Gary Phillips, Texas Rangers

Gary Phillips joined the Texas Rangers 10 years into his 20-plus year career with the Texas Department of Public Safety. During this time, his outstanding leadership, work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to improving himself and everyone around him make him a model for his fellow Rangers and all who meet him. From investigating the Twin Peaks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Shooting, to the Sutherland Springs Church Shooting, to the Austin Bomber, Gary’s drive to perfect the profession of serving and protecting others has saved countless lives and made the State of Texas a safer place for all. His devotion to our communities makes him a hero to us all.
