Right now my philodendron majestic is growing insane and I'm here for her! My philodendron sp colombia silver and esqueleto has put out a new leaf as they are a bit newer to my collection and really excited about them. Micans and scindapsus are also lush and full and beautiful. Hoya Polyneura is blooming a second time for me, this time on multiple branches, so I'm feeling the love Thank You for sharing.. I love philodendrons! My daughter loves both anthuriums and philodendrons. We will typically prop plants for each other. Makes her home visits from college like sprinkles on a cake. When I purchased my Monstera Albo a few years back…I told her to take a node cutting so she could have that plant too. Here lately my big box shops have been disappointing…nothing to find except for the ones I already have. 😔 I will keep hunting for those unique htf plants! BTW all your plants are STUNNING! ❤️❤

I love the Brandtianums but when I have seen them on other channels they look scraggly and I thought it meant they were hard to grow. So true about the Brandi. I just repotted mine and it’s much happier! It likes to be moist, it likes bright indirect sun, but it also likes chunky well draining soil. The El Choco is on my wish list.

I feel the philodendron Brandi is a finicky plant for me. I bought 2 when I found them at a box store for a great price. I just couldn't keep them alive after I tried everything. That's one plant I wouldn't recommend for beginners.

Love all of the except Verracosum! It has been the heartbreak of my plant journey...I can't get rid of the pests! It's just one creepy crawly after another! I think they are actually part spidermite.

🖤 AHHH I can’t grow a Brandi to save my life! But I swear by my wonky looking Tortum. I’ve got an itty bitty Polypoidiodies that’s going to go even crazier this summer. They’re not even getting special humidity. I don’t understand why people don’t go nuts for them. Love this video💚

@@sarahelizabeth1007 Brandi, you're not a fine girl! They look great until you bring them home. Then they start putting out tiny, squirrely looking leaves that are just not pretty. My understanding is that they only thrive in really high humidity. I gave up on mine.

I enjoyed this video so much I went back and watched the two ten rare plants videos you posted earlier, before I had subscribed.. I would like to recommend the Golden Crocodile Philodendron, easy to grow and like sun in a plant collection. They are also called Yellow Ring of Fire and are the same shape, like a Jungle Boogie or Pluto Narrow. Golden Crocodiles would be more famous if they cost more!

My philo pedatum I got from a local shop she had it as a ghost but I have a couple ghosts and I knew it wasn’t a ghost so when I saw it I was intrigued but I didn’t get it but I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I went back and it had just been marked down to $20 so I was happy I waited & even happier it was still there 😅

I’ve always loved philodendron, they’re easy, beautiful, what is not to l love! But Brandi….this plant hates me. It loses leaves every time I look at it. It’s under excellent light, I water it when I water my other philos, and it’s still angry. 😢

The best alternative to the Brandi is the Sodiroi! It’s almost identical, nearly a quarter of the price, has red stems and roots instead and grows like a weed. Mine upsized so quickly. I’ve taken so many cuttings I don’t even know what to do with them all. It’s super chill as well, tolerates underwatering and loves a pole to climb. I’d recommend them to anyone who loves silver foliage and wants more of an “uncommon” Philo with less hassle then your usual suspects!

Brandtianum is not easy to care of, exactly opposite is true. Even on your specimen leaves are getting small while you claim it is easy to take care of. It will be insanely hard to grow a beautiful plant out of it. Sad story. I like them too.
