I enjoyed the adults-only atmosphere of the Scarlet Lady, but I am a morning person. So many events were late at night I ended up missing them all. The hubby and I giggled walking down the hallways at 12pm and all the do not disturb lights on. So any night people will probably love it.

Great review! Doing my 5th sailing in March. My pros: all inclusive (soda, tips, games, classes, specialty restaurant quality food, gelato, wifi), no kids, hammock, water brought to your room, no required drink package for all adults in room, no buffet, karaoke rooms, ship eats, loyalty club. My cons: tiny bathroom, pool, no sofa in cabin, no bathroom storage, low hard bed, low hard seating on decks, lack of sea views, DJ, app, reservation system. It's still the best value for me and in my top 2 now along with Celebrity.

My kids and I have went on 4 cruises, all with carnival , we loved each trip except this last one. because of the ship we just came off in November, for thanksgiving, we are now looking for something new . We were on the celebration, and I think we went at the WRONG time. It was full of disrespectful new cruiser’s and disrespectful kids, that were under 14 with a 1 o’clock unsupervised curfew. So many people went to customer service complaining, It’s was sad. I think this video just gave me a refresh and new direction . You both give great information in all your videos,Thank you😊

I am 6' tall, 240 pounds, and I had a standard sea terrace cabin, and my feet NEVER came close to being in the shower stall whilst I was sitting on the throne. Now, speaking of the shower stall, I LOVE the water pressure on these ships, but I HATE the rain shower head. I don't wash my hair every day, and I don't need that water falling down on me, so I was always aware of it. Give me a normal shower head - the wand they provide is useless. The shower door is awesome, so that you don't have a curtain clinging onto your ass whilst water ends up on the entire bathroom floor.

Virgin looked out for the solo passengers too. They have meet ups for them. My trip had probably 25% solo passengers and you can see folks entertaining themselves with other passengers.

I loved my Virgin Voyages cruises. We did Scarlet and Valiant Lady. I don’t like the bathroom setups. If you gotta go while in a restaurant it’s like you gotta walk a mile to get to it. Room storage sucks. They know we coming with the big suitcase lol I don’t have to get in the pool but it should definitely be more than one. I’m gonna miss the bar tab and the onboard credit. My last cruise I had $1000 onboard credit.

There was a time when cruise ships didn’t allow embarkation before 12:30. Cruisers didn’t select a boarding time, you just lined up to embark. They should go back to that practice.

Oh room service is included? No luggage tags is different. Cool water is included and steamer can be provided. That’s nice rooms ready immediately. All of your dislikes sound like it would typical appeal to a Carnival , NCL or RCL customer. Noting wrong with that, Virgin Voyages came to disrupt all of that. I absolutely LOVE the concept! Yes, the pool is small, i don’t care for pools on ships they give me Petrie dish vibes (drunk people urinating) 😂😂, i love the eclectic shows, if you want Broadway style try on the other cruise lines, ( RCL , NCL have great shows, i did a sailing out of NYC and they had Rockettes dancers showing us their famous kicks) i love the no annoying announcements, the food is exquisite, the options are great, and i love, love that they serve you in the galley ( not a bunch of people touching and grabbing, I think that people have to decide what their goals are before cruising, if it’s a family vacation then choose a RCL, NCL or Disney line. A more mature crowd would probably prefer a Holland, Princess, etc. I was pleasantly impressed with the fact that VV included a diverse group of people , the staff is outstanding, embarkation is a breeze, the techie side as well is a plus. Oh and the bar tab flexibility , for instance if you’re sharing a cabin , you’re not both forced to purchase the bar tab . It’s considered a luxury cruise in the their category, see Cruise Critic ( all inclusive without the bar tab ) and not pretentious. The staff is fun, friendly , helpful and professional. I absolutely enjoy this company, I’m going on my third cruise and looking forward to to it. Thanks for your post.

The pool hurt my feelings. I am a big pool person. I just went on my first virgin voyagers trip and i could barley find a space in the jacuzzi. I went crazy by the time we got to the bimini pool party. And yes the some djs just didnt read the room. Some parties emptied out quick. Or we just turned the bar out for fun

I believe virgin listened to the complaints from all other cruises and said we can do better. To us we loved our time on virgin. My wife and I are booked for a cruise out of Greece to Barcelona next year. I think after your third or fourth cruise you get premium WiFi included. You guys hit every mark on the likes and dislikes. We really love Virgin cruises.

The lack of pools is one my few pet peeves as well. Considering the ship capacity is less than most cruise lines, they could easily remove some of the unused activity/lounge spaces and put in another pool. Easily Update: Just listened on and see Stanley said this exact same thing. We on the same type of time! Update to the update: Love the idea of a lazy river! That would be a great add-on if they can't add another pool (I also love a lil slide)

Hey! This video is spot on! The DJ'ing was not it! !!! One DJ was better than the rest but she only performed twice during the cruise. Secondly I agree they could have more pool spaces- too much random workout equipment 😂😂😂😂 Lastly yeah I agree about lazy rivers / pool slides- I'm a kids at heart ❤ Overall VV has become my favorite cruise line!
