Fantastic! I'll try this. If I don't have time for eyeshadow, I put either a matte blush or bronzer (whatever I am already using) in the crease. I don't use false lashes so I just triple the amount of mascara on those very outer lashes and that seems to do the trick.

Love this made so simple. Making a note to start from outside of eye instead of from middle of lid outwards as I usually try with no success. I haven’t experimented with false lashes or have the skills for a dreamy smoky eyes but this is subtle and simple and more natural. Thanks! And you are the 👸 of swatches and so pretty and sweet! ❤

Me too! I got some free lashes years ago and they've been sitting in a drawer ever since. I think I'd look silly in a full false lash, but this technique could work!

Yes! The biggest trick I have for cutting lashes is to cut the inner portion of the lash that's shorter. It will blend with your natural lashes better because it tapers from short to long. If you cut a clump from the longer, outer part of the lash, it'll be a lot longer than your natural lashes and look more obvious. :)
