13:10 what this guy did was really smart, by grabbing the hammer at an angle instead of straight up and down it made it harder for his hand to slip up the hammer, which made it easier to get a better grip, that being said it still requires a pretty decent amount of grip strength to lift it either way.

Next Sidemen Strength Test Matt can team up with the stronger Sidemen (JJ, Ethan, Harry, Josh) vs. Tobi and Vik, but their ringer is Tom Stoltman or Eddie Hall. Highest total (Squat, Bench, Deadlift, OHP) wins. That way Team Matt has more people and bigger bodies, but Tobi and Vik have an absolute UNIT on their team.

When in the US Navy in 1971, the ship had lead weights from 300 to 1,000 pounds for testing the cranes each morning. These weights were steel pipes 24 inches in diameter with wire ropes and a loop at the end, with the right amount of lead poured in the pipe. The weight was punched into the top of the castings. Everybody gave it a try and the only guy that was able to lift the 1,000 pounds was a skinny farm boy from the mid west. we had a D 1 football player, (defensive end) that everybody thought would lift the 1,000 weight. Nope, It was the skinny guy, about 5' 10'' tall and 180 soaking wet that was the only guy that could lift it enough to shake the deck. That was the way one could tell if it went off the deck. It made a heck of a racket when it hit the deck, i'll say that!

Depends on the rules and the hammer handle diameter and whether you can use two hands etc, 60kg is fairly light so in premise sounds easy but with one hand and a thick bar would be fairly tough.

The trick I think will work for anyone who's hand slips is to use the rest of your front arm from wrist to elbow parallel holding agaist the handle while using wrist only as anchor for your arm to pin against the handle
