I use a single O2 sensor after the turbo and wired both banks together (signal only- use only one heat circuit.)

I got the 2004 Silverado 1500 6.0L V8 Vortec Max it’s RWD, those hold up better with a ton of HP than 4x4’s because it has no transfer case right? I’ve been rebuilding it because it’s a gem, the guy I bought it from had engine work done by TSP so it’s already very fast, can’t wait to add some trickflow heads and fast ls intake then turbo it, or trickflow and supercharge it, already gets like 10 mpg and I gotta drive a lot so dont know if I wanna turbo it. I got it for $6400 it was a steal hahaha

Hey man I got 99 Sierra gmc 1500 v8 5.3 liter, this thing got 200,000 miles and It’s my favorite ride, I recently got a new transmission 4l60e, I was thinking about putting corvette servo and maybe a shift kit. Anyways does the servo and shift increase longevity of the transmission? The transmission shop I got it from said it wouldn’t be a good idea I kinda think other wise. Still have decently hard shifts from 1-2 gears.

I can’t speak on the shift kit but the servo will help it last longer. I put them in every 4l60e I work on.

I did a turbo LS into my favorite truck, after the past few years of it I really wish I wouldn't have done it. It's just not worth it into somthing you love getting into and being able to drive it places.. had wayore fun with it before I try to make a ton of power.

@@christophermix6845 too much for a comfortable driver. I wanted to make it to where I could drive it anywhere but with the fully built rear end, the fully built trans, built motor, the custom stainless turbokit, the coil relocation, changing plugs pretty often, filling my methanol tank, it makes it no fun unless your taking it out to rip it hard. For me it's more stressful driving it slow than beating the piss out of it when it was mildy built, if that makes any sense. If I did it again I'd pick a truck I didn't have so much connection with so I didn't care when it say for months because it's having issues. They all have issues, and when your 2 hours from home trying to go on vacation with other people with you it's no fun for anyone broke down because of a preturbo exhaust leak or a melted wire that blew a bunch of fuses.

@@matthenry9385 gotcha makes sense. So you'd rather have a NA setup? I can definitely understand that probably always paranoid something's going to break. I'm building a LS 398 stroker NA maybe a supercharger or nitrous eventually. It's going in my 04 Silverado whole drivetrain is built besides the transfer case until it/if it blows. I'm doing a frame off restoration at the moment. Kinda wishing I would of just built the drive train and drove it. Cause man it's so much work and money. But it's my first Truck I bought, and bought it from my grandpa so I'll never sell it and it was pretty rusty so it needed to be fixed. But it's mostly going to be a weekend fun truck.

But everyone has different experiences hope yours goes great. I did a resto as well and I'm pleased with the end result just not what I realize I was after for a truck I like to drive often, and I have my own business so i don't trust it to get me to everyjob so I don't bother driving it.
