I always use a power driver on mine but you need to know where the height limit is so that you don't damage the lead screw when it runs to the end of the tread, mark the bottom platform with a line so you know when to stop, and when you let the jack down all you need to do is power down until it's near the bottom and then wind the rest of the way by hand. There's no way I would wind it up by using that silly little box spanner.

Hello....I'm planning to use this jack lift for some school project that is very light - about 5 lbs. If I want to covert this to motorized one can I use this unit up side down? (black rubber will face up)
