UPDATE!!! New Video Out... Please See:
• The EPIC Mojave Franke...
The EPIC team performs a suspension lift on the 2021 Jeep Mojave Gladiator. We're finding that most people don't understand how different this Gladiator is from all the other Gladiator models. This is not a Rubicon, although it costs as much.
The Mojave was designed around speed desert running (thus the desert rated badge) similar to the marketing around the Ford Raptor. Some of the general differences are:
Multiple Frame Reinforcements
Fox 2.5 Internal Bypass Shocks with Remote Reservoirs
Fox Hydraulic Front Bump Stops
Factory-Tuned Custom Performance Springs
Cast Steel Knuckles
Raised Steel Hood
Rear Locker, 2.72 T-Case
Performance Steering Wheel, Extra Bolstered Seats w/Orange Stitching, Gunmetal Textured Dash, etc.
To lift this Gladiator, there is no point in replacing the amazing Fox suspension system (as you paid a premium for it), so we worked with Teraflex to get us a specific spring spacer kit with matching shock extensions. This method will give us 2" of lift front/rear while maintaining the proper positioning of the shocks such that they operate as designed.
The result turned out fantastic, with a great driving Gladiator while being able to fit 35" tires. In our opinion, this is one of the best driving Gladiators out there!
- - - - - - - -
Here's what we did to make this happen. Teraflex does not have a kit for the Mojave, so we assembled the following:
1375300 - JT 3.5" Spacer Lift, No Shocks
- Utilized front swaybar links in the rear.
- Utilized 2" worth of rear bump stops (1.5" upper, 0.5" rear pad).
- Utilized front 2" bump stops.
- Utilized 1.5" rear coil spring spacer.
- Tossed the rest of the kit away.
05-01-309-050 (x2)
- 0.5" rear coil spring spacer, bolted together with the 1.5" spacers from 1375300.
05-01-109-200 (x2)
- 2" Front coil spring spacers.
1764000 - JT front swaybar front disconnect kit.
1253000 - Lower front sport arms.
1753420 - Adjustable Front track bar.
1985200 - 2" Shock Extension Bracket Kit
- Only used the fronts.
EVO-3083B - EVO Part
- Rear 2.5" shock extensions.

Hopefully you can help me with this i have a rubicon and a complete Mojave suspension take off, i ordered everything you did here just in debate on using Rubi springs or Mojave springs. From what i gathered the Mojave springs do not provide the full inch of lift, some of the Mojave lift comes from the hydro bump frame. I am not necessarily bombing desert, Mostly jacked up rocky forest service roads. I have been running the shocks for about 2 months and it rides pretty good with Rubi springs. But have no butt time on Mojave springs. Opinion please befor i tare everything aprt to put lift.

I’m going to keep coming back to this video until I get this install completed. Hope you don’t get tired of me. Did you notice or have any problem with The TeraFlex shock extensions in the front? TeraFlex says to reuse the bolt to mount the shock. It appears that bolt’s diameter is too big for the hole in the shock extension? I’m sure I will owe you guys more than just one beer by the time this is over with. And... 2 inch lift, 2 inch bump stop extensions With 2 1/2 inch shock extensions in the rear if I understand correctly? Any concerns with the shock bottoming out before the bump stop?
@EPIC-4WD
@EPIC-4WD 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the front lower shock mounts on the Mojave axle are beefier. So you have to do some modifications to make the Teraflex extensions work. The rear - no concerns here.

@Epic Adventure Outfitters I see this video is almost a year old. When viewing the Teraflex website and putting in info for a 2022 Mojave, it gives several options for lift kits... being a newbie, it's a little confusing and I could use some guidance. Have these kits been made available since your lift and were not available to you ? Are they "complete" kits or is your product list and pieced together kit still the way to go ? I also notice some options included springs and other options, I didn't see you guys change any of that, so I'm guessing its not needed. Is there a complete kit you would recommend ? Thanks...subscribed !

@hexnut72
@hexnut72 3 жыл бұрын
John Thibodeaux the adjustable track bar allows you to center the axle side to side. As you lift the suspension the axle will move to one side. The control arms are made for a lifted Jeep and keep the alignment in spec by rotating the axle slightly. The quick disconnects are there to help you flex off road but aren’t technically needed.

Think about it this way. Some people at a $100+ million lab somewhere came up with the perfect formula that balances performance, safety, economy and enjoyability. Then some randos online were like "HiGhEr = bEtTeR" and decided to throw a bunch of aftermarket stuff in, on, under and over their jeep.
@brandonhunter2760
@brandonhunter2760 Жыл бұрын
@@StevenZagaris Not quite that simple. Remember, Jeep is a business. Businesses are in business to make a profit. There is only so much any company is willing to offer at X price to maintain profit.
