Spectres now based on gen lvl, not a corpse lvl. So +2 lvls is insane

actually its not, level 20 gem is only level 80 spectres, so you need a level 21 gem and to take the +2 node, just to get what we used to get for free in delve or t15 area, all at the same time losing soul weaver (100% increase life and damage). its a huge nerf in disguise

To be fair spectres before were a bit strong considering you had the Carnage cheiftans providing max frenzy charges all the time and the solar gaurdians dealing huge damage while being tanky as hell. With these changes spectres are on the same level as other summons but can still be the endgame clearing machines they were before. The only difference is that they are now less expensive as you need less uniques to get them online.

@@gamingaftermidnighteco7399 yes still a massive nerf. the best spectre build is slaver drivers in pledge of hands. now even if you get level 21 raise spectre and unnatural strenght your minions will still be at a lower level than they are now + you dont have soul weaver, which is the equivalent of 18 passive points.

No.... the old one +100% life and 100% dmg for Spectres even +2 levels can't compare to that however the news tree make it's better for overall other kind of build.....since the old one people will go for Spectres only anyway......so he's right about Spectres and over all reviews...... and cause that node 100% life and dmg that why no one build Scion minions build well Scion suck anyway

I'm not sure "unnatural strength" applies to support gems as well since it says "minion >skill< gems" and not "minion gems"....support gems are not "skills", but we'll see

According to the wiki there are ACTIVE skill gems and SUPPORT skill gems. I guess we will all find out on day 1 how this notable works.

Yeah we haven't seen the per gem level bonuses that are now going to be worked INTO the Minion gems. They said skeletons get movement speed per level. Someone mentioned specters getting life / damage scaling per gem level. Same with zombies, even more life per level than before. With all that, adding 2 more levels to the top will probably blow the old specter ascendancy point into meaningless. Plus with all the other passive benefits, specters will be stronger than ever I believe.

I was about to skip the upcomming League but this changes to the Necro changed my Mind. Survivalbility could be alot better now. I played Necro Zombie/Skele in the past and did almost everything with that. Now i want to see how the changes affect the Content on the Table. Thank you for Overviewing it. I play summoner almost every league, I was thinking of going Skeletons or even back to my old Zombie build - I was able to get 300k shaper DPS per zombie (2.1 Million with all 7 zombies). Wondering if I can push that higher this league. Super curious to know if the movement of skeletons in built into the gem level now, because playing skeletons without the ascendancy felt terrible.

at 10:36 you say that Unnatural strength applies to Volatile Dead, Detonate Dead... Those skills are not minion, they're spell / AoE, they don't have a minion tag so it would not affect them

I think you're wrong about spectres. They changed the gem so that now spectres lvl is based on gem level instead of the area level of where you raise them. This means that you won't have to go into a t16 map to get good spectres, but it also means that you can get crazy high level spectres now. Lvl 20 gem gives you lvl 80 spectres. With this new ascendancy, empower, and new necromancer wands, its easy to hit lvl 30+ spectres. They are going to have a lot more damage and life than they do now

Don't forget about the skill tree where you can now get +1 golem. I think we'll see more golemancers this coming league.

You can now have either an additional (more) golem with the Elementalist golem-spec or you can run Necro with the amount of golems that the Elementalist has had up untill now and then pick the +2 minion level and stuff like that.

I like the 'generic' feel to the new nodes. With the skill and support gem changes it seems like it will better support a more mixed pack with some combination of skellies, zombies, spectres and the new golem.

My assumption is that "raise" and "spawn" will be 2 different things. I do think it will work with Plaguebringer though. Since they count as corpses, being near them will count.

You say that +2 to minion skill gems is "too damn significant notable" and "too strong". While it is definitely pure buff to non-Spectre builds, this is a nerf to Spectre sumoners, because the cost of adding this notable was removing another notable "Soul Weaver", thus, Spectres lost 100% increased damage and life. Also, lvl 20 Spectre gem now only allows to summon Spectres of lvl 80, while before we could summon Spectres of lvl 84 using the same gem. So, with this keystone and lvl 21 Summon Spectre gem we can only summon lvl 83 Spectres, which have 100% decreased damage and life. As a compensation, Raise Spectre gem now allows to summon 1 additional spectre. For those who used 3 Spectres, this will definitely compensate the 100% loss of damage (but not loss of life). I use 4 Spectres, and I've calculated that after those changes, with 5 Spectres up, I will still lose about 5% of damage. That makes me sad, since I was very excited about upcoming Necromancer buff, and now I see that new ascendancy doesn't give more power to Spectres. The hope is that there are some additional changes to the tree or new skill gems, that will make the spectre summoner class buffed in general.

Necro for summoner seems kinda bland to me now. Very strong nodes, but its missing too much unique ascendancy now. I like not being cornered into playing Necro but this is too much generalization. Especially when every other choice have their unique selling point. Strong survivability and passive number boosts are fine, but its missing that 'wow I want that in my build' now. We'll see how the numbers stack up(who knows depending on how the gems are stated now, that last +2 on node might be clutch), but it doesnt excite me at this point. More excited to try out corpse shenanigans once league hits for when I roll Necro. Im definitely jumping on the summoner train at some point, but it won't be Necro yet again.

Hello POE is a great game ... but I came across an overzealous technical support person ... my account was blocked (changing IP) despite the fact that I have this account for years (my email has not changed for years) and I do not remember which email I set up my account ... and even though I have the data to buy currency to play for additional things ... and the account is worth a lot to recover and through conversations with some tempak from technical support I even wanted to play ... a free game in which I paid microtransactions and I have proof of it in the form of confirmation of purchase.
