Hi karina I particularly love the blue yellow swirly fabric skirt. And the faux dress. And the convertible pre/post lunch versions. 😏 I absolutely love an A-line skirt And I totally agree with making a loose waist band. Comfort first! But really........ I love that first fabric! So fun and vibrant. I made a simple tried and true shorts pattern on Monday, from scraps left over from a pair of pants I made for my daughter. It was quick and fun, and used up that little bit of fabric. Sometimes a bit of super easy sewing is just what we need. Hugs!

I wanted to say one more thing. I don’t come to see you always do complex projects. You have a phenomenal skill set, and a great eye for color and pattern, and I do learn a lot. But I come back because you are interesting and sweet. I like the insights into where you live, all the cultural differences, and similarities. Karina, very happy to know you are in a "relaxed" sewing mode. I can see you are going in a forward motion which is always a good thing! I really like how your skirts turned out. It is amazing how different each one looks in a different fabric.(flowy vs. not) I am favoring the flowered linen with solid colored tops. I like the multicolored skirt & top together as well as with solids. I think I must admit it must be age dictating my preferences. Take care & God Bless.

I really like the skirts....the floral one looks especially nice with different colored solid tops (although my fav is the multi-colored one). Wish I liked to wear skirts/dresses...the weather here in the Andes (Ecuador) starts out fresh, goes to all 3 seasons by the time its 5pm...so I just mostly wear long pants. Thanks for continuing to show your makes....you are inspiring lots of folks.

Lee Johnstone I live in the Pacifist Northwest of the United States . Even in our deepest summer the day starts chilly, usually about 58-60 F, and by mid afternoon will be 80-85F and sunny. It is a matter of layering all day, which gets tiresome.

Lovely skirts, Karina! Especially love the multi color version. I find using well loved patterns multiple times a great way help "sewjo issues", too. It's refreshing to take a break from complicated sews on occasion.
