Can you tell me why my battery backup failed during Irma, even though I have a full charge when the power is on?

When the power goes out it last 24 hour and battery run the motor and making a beeping noise and there is no light it run 12 volt and you need to replace about 1 year when battery beep that indicated you have a battery fail then your garage will not work
