Love your videos Tim. Question, when you counterwrap with wire, have you considered wrapping the body in the opposite direction, so you can wrap the wire in the standard direction that doesn't require you to switch thread direction twice? Sorry if that was hard to understand. -Lucas

It’s a great question. The reason I don’t counterwrap the material rather than the wire is that wrapping multi stranded materials like pheasant tail fibers can be a challenge in the normal direction and for me is even more difficult when counter wrapped.

It’s just some of the finish that coats the hook that went on a little unevenly. I didn’t even notice it until I went to edit the video. It’s pretty common.
