Somehow this is equally neon as a calm oasis. Has so money colours, so many unicorn and still gives a minimalist vibe. Would not have thought this is possible. So perfect!🤓

That’s so nice to hear because it is a tough balance. I will say having a light-drenched room really helps. Ultimately, the “client” was very pleased, and I hear she hasn’t left the unicorn chair since. 😂

10:44 as soon as you started building the suspense, I already knew you were talking about "The Monster at the End of this Book"! That was one of my favorites 😍 as a kid! FYI KZbin has an animated version of it btw, which I found for students when I was a teacher, but totally made them listen to it for my own selfish reasons lol. "Tabitha's" room is super pretty, can't even pick something that's my favorite because I love all of it. Lucky girl!

I just joined your channel and viewed many of your room makeovers in a few days. The suspension was so high when you talked about pastels and neons, that it felt almost dissapointing that you didn't wallpaper or painted any walls. They feel almost boring white. You usually make very bold and loud maximalist rooms, which are so much fun! But I understand that you have to go with what the cliënt wants 😅.

So cute, but I feel there is something lacking. Aside from the aforementioned missing headboard, there is no desk chair, and more surprisingly, no toys! In a 5 1/2 year old's bedroom, I would think your client does more than read and sleep... why no toy box at the foot of the bed (or a storage ottoman at the desk) or any stuffed animals, etc? A hula hoop would even look good on the wall; something actually fun for a kid. Ya know? Again, it's very cute but way too "adult", although I do really like what you did. ❤

Ah, don’t worry. We were prepping this before they’d fully moved into their new place. Her desk chair was still on order, and she her toys were at her old place. She also has a lil walk/in closet with more fun stuff: toys, easel, etc. No sad beige children here. 😂
