I agree whole-heartedly that the Colossal Archive can possibly be an excellent PVP arena. Between the non-destructable scenery and verticality there is plenty of entertainment value there. Hopefully the scenery complexity would not create lag or networking glitches or player drops. Unfortunately, Cynical is likely too cagey to be lured into an ambush in one. Wouldn't that be fun!

If he likes the idea, Ghostlight can still use the Autophage for their unique race in the next season. After that, you guys might need a slightly different system to keep factions easy to distinguish in the field. I assume that you have thought about that already. I'm just throwing it out there.

doing goods Captain of the Steves you need something that gives you the double upper hand, a hot back up if ya know what i mean, but also integrate the highest possible shielding as well and movement fast hard and tough

Back in the day cynical discovered a "god tier" multitool glitch that he claimed was too OP to make public. I suspect that is what he is using. If it's like his god tier ship that means he's got double tech installed. Like two weapons at the same time.

This might merit investigation. It would be a shame if he is still taking advantage of this to cheat now. In an early Season 2 stream his inventory screen plainly displayed dozens of super charged slots. He acknowledged it and claimed that he inadvertently left a mod engaged. He said he would fix it and it is not displayed in those pages now. I felt that he might have done what he said he would do.

It may not be my place to step into this and I may regret it. But, I just feel that there is value in learning, once and for all, if Cynical is playing fair. I have been a NMS fan for 6 years, since it got past its disastrous launch and became available to my Xbox One X. I ceased all network gameplay years ago and live 6500km from UK. I will not know the participants well enough to judge for myself. I have watched and enjoyed MANY of Steve's, (and other's) streams. I am NOT proud that I only just now subscribed and joined. After watching Cynical's moving tribute to Xxiou Games, I became even more convinced that, behind the scenes, he is actually a decent soul. That is not proof that he might not adopt a philosophy of 'All's fair in digital war'.

Ricey is a person that likes rules and follows them. Me I will bend a rule or two but stick in the lines. Cynical will redefine... sneakily get around rules. I think this is what makes this a tad more fun is us having such different approaches... "FAIR" is kind of a strange one... I have more members on my crew than Cynical and Ricey... hence why I haven't gone out of my way to take out anyone until PVP starts... and for content I have pretty much made videos of all my major changes and progress. Cynical does video based on dramatic moments... most he has caused...lol Think his videos have been great this and last season. And yeah... when you get to know Cynical, he is a super nice chap. Ricey has done a bit of both.... Really think each of us and our takes work well... And think players of similar play style will gravitate to their creator of choice... Ghost Light may join us in Season 3 as a new leader, meaning there will be 4 factions.

@@CaptainSteveVPT WOW! Thank you for the detailed insight. I like the parts of each of you that is presented in your content. I LOVE the game and between my Xbox Gamertag, (still used in the Windows Xbox App) and the Steam Gamertag, I have literally thousands of hours played. The Expeditions played multiple times, (including Redux). I will remain a steady fan and viewer. Thanks again for all your content, (and I love Ivy too)!

Good fun that. Useful weapon/shield comparisons. The Pulse Spitter with the Paralysis Grenades have long been my Go-To combo against Sentinels for getting through all the waves and locating Sentinel Pillars, (and farm glass). The only thing we don't really know quite yet is how your load out compares to Cynical. The speed at which he can take out Butterflies, Sentinels and sometimes other players is still shocking. I have watched enough of his streams that I am convinced that he is NOT cheating with modded Super Charged slots. It appears that after a great deal of glass farming, he has just collected some very good tech and placed it very well. Thanks again Captain!

Perhaps... Odd thing is he said his damage potential was 56k... I got my Boltcaster to just under 70k... didn't do the same damage as his did...

@@CaptainSteveVPT Another thing is that I still feel that the mouse can give a significant aiming advantage. I do use my Xbox controller with my PC/Steam, (when not in VR) because I don't care for keyboard controls. VR aiming advantages are also significant, (never needing to 'drive' the reticle to lead a target) and such.
