A Cappella vocal group Eclipse 6 highlights the world’s longing for miracles with the plea, “O come, Immanuel.” To those who wait, hunger, pray, and wander, they sing, “Behold your King.”
The video portrays how the miracles of healing performed by Jesus Christ during His ministry can be experienced today by those waiting for the coming of Immanuel. To the hearts that long for a little bit of hope, the group declares, “The Light of the World is here.”

As we learned, recorded and filmed this video we felt the love of Christ so powerfully. Putting this video together was an emotional and powerful experience. All six of us have shed tears of appreciation and gratitude for the LIGHT of the World as we worked on this project. This message is perfect for RIGHT NOW. The world waits for a miracle. It's not just a vaccine that is needed, it is Jesus...the light of the world. When the audio mix of this came back from our recording engineers I put my headphones on closed the door and just sobbed. When the video was completed...once again I was left in tears of appreciation and gratitude for the LIGHT of the world. The world waits for a miracle. O Come Emmanuel.

This song is so beautiful.. And exactly what I needed to hear. I love how they showed Christ lifting up those around him and how we can do that too. I saw myself in every sinner or person he healed. As I think back on the year 2020, my mind is filled with so many images portraying isolation, sickness, fear, contention, loneliness, and uncertainty. I don’t know about you, but back in the spring-when things around me really seemed to start to unravel-I never thought that ten months later, we would still be dealing with such isolation and uncertainty. I think that’s why when we (Eclipse 6) talked about recording a new song, and Paul suggested Light of the World, I only needed to hear the first two lines to have an emotional connection to it. “The world waits for a miracle.” Isn’t that true right now in so many ways? “The heart longs for a little bit of hope. Oh come, oh come, Emmanuel.” I think hearts are longing for hope right now, but the good news that we celebrate, especially this time of the year, is that He has come! And because of Him, there is hope! There have been times over the past several months that my heart longed for just a little bit of hope, and then in the middle of all the crazy, I’ve seen good people serve, help, and love each other. Doing the things Jesus Christ did and taught that we should do. Like the wise men of old, we watch for the signs of when He will come again. Waiting for that miracle. But as we watch and wait, may we all spread the hope that comes from knowing that on a silent night in Bethlehem so many years ago, "He has come." The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Emmanuel. He has come, and it is about His coming and the miracles surrounding His birth, His life, His ministry, and His Atonement, that we celebrate during the Christmas season. Be safe, stay healthy, and have a very merry Christmas.

In the last year we have seen the ugly side of human nature while we all on this planet deals with this pandemic.
