As a drummer that uses effects, it’s always hard to find an example of what they’re sound like together. Thanks so much for making this.

I was so absolutely zoned-out to the tremolo beat and following the movement of the drummer, that the sudden appearance of the hand on the pedals freaked me out haha.

Love the way it sounds, but a little confused about how it works… I get the gating at all and even the ducking, but I don’t understand where it’s pulling Sound from at the beginning of the video…? Does it generate its own feedback loop and then just respond by cutting out once you hit a certain threshold? If so, I’d love to see more about what is basing it sound on before it’s gated

Is the attack speed on the pedal a physical feature or somehow changable? When I demod it on a drum machine I ended up wanting a faster attack so it would glue more.

In the ducking reverb setting (gate knob cw) full gain reduction with a fast release is at ~3 o'clock. Turning it further cw increases the release and it is the setting that you can hear in the first section. Attack time (how quickly the gate closes) is not adjustable, but it is fast - you can hear the gate close right at each kick. In the gated reverb setting (gate knob ccw) the max ccw setting is sharp attack and release of the gate. Turning it back cw increases gate release time and decreases gain reduction.
