@@theodoreritola7641 - maybe you're trying too hard to be the way God wants you to be - try letting go of your control and then ask Jesus to do the work in your heart. You can pray this short prayer (which helped me - I felt a change every time I prayed it - and I prayed it for one week): "Jesus, please cleanse my heart" - Try it and see the differences it makes already the first time you pray for this. -After one week, I was almost free from being angry towards other people; what you need might not be to get rid of being angry, but something else - but Jesus _will_ fix the problems you have, if you let Him. ❤😃

Favorite worship song of modern era, brings back memories and sentiments of 35 years playing guitar in worship band. It has such an eerie longing feeling to it. I think the prayer was answered for me. I no longer have such longing to plea for help or freedom from shame. Rather I'm learning my identity as an adopted beloved son of the Father because I'm in Jesus and highly favored - no shame, no need to earn more, which makes Jesus so cool and God so good...living in my spirit (new man) which is all the fire I'll need.

I know your family stories, they have been an encouragement to me, and an inspiration for me to be real with God.
