I wanted to write this for a long time already. You guys are the embodiment of how I feel on a day-to-day basis. Your melodies are perfectly arranged, always progressing just the way I imagined it from first time listening, hitting the right double-bass, double guitars, and growling/screaming at the exact right time. Your impeccable musicianship is what I can't find even among my other favorite bands, and believe me; other bands have their amazing music too. From start to finish, your songs are exactly written the way I would want to make songs. I'm not saying literally all songs are like that, there is a small exception or two, but that's not the point. I have never come even close to a band focusing so much detail to carefully arranging their work so that the song's structure is so well-built. That's why I love you guys so much, it's all about the rhythm for me, and you guys are the manifestation of that perspective. I can't express well enough how deeply it resonates within my soul every time I play one of your songs on my headphones. The mix of sad and angry feeling of how the world is at its present state and the plight of inner self, the, sort-of, struggle and acceptance dealing with such a messed up life, dealing with the internal feeling of impending doom, simply everything wrong with anything, reflects perfectly in your style. The result is just the right feeling of depressing satisfaction, oddly enough, creating a soothing feeling of some sort. Most people have their band which helped them in their darkest moments - for me, it's Light This City. I was extremely saddened, after listening to, and beloving your first two albums, that you had already split-up. From what I've read online, other bands were doing it more for other reasons than making good music, which discouraged you from proceeding. Or maybe it's not true, it's irrelevant. Anyway, whatever the reason was, I wanted to say thank you for everything. Actually, no, scratch that. You usually say thank you when you are saying goodbye to something or someone. I'm not. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say I'm supporting and waiting for the continuation of your work, whether it be in near or distant future (or never). Even though perhaps one day you won't have a lot of fans, be aware that you will always have one. With best regards
