Actually Raye had a laptop. He couldn't know the other FBI agents' faces, so Light told him to look carefully at each face from his laptop and then write their name on the deathnote sheets. On those sheets from deathnote Light had already written the details of death for every each one name that Raye would write and the deathnote sheet was inside the paper-envelope that had only slits for Raye to write the names on the deathnote that was behind those slits. So the outer paper-envelope hid the details of deaths on the right side of the deathnote sheets as it is shown later on. So, when Raye wrote the names, the FBI agents' death activated. It was a brilliant plan from Light's perspective and technically, he wasn't responsible of the FBI agents' death, but Raye was the one that killed them by writing their name! 😎And also the s** offender that Light killed was just to make a point and make Raye believe that he is really Kira. Of course Light orchestrated that death beforehand. He learnt how deathnote works pretty quickly and exploited every bit of its power to his advantage. He also played with Raye's psychology by refering to his fiance to threaten him.

True but he has even more similarities with Damien Thron from The Omen series if you know about that horror franchise, Especially with the Damien character thinking he is the true god of the destined earthly world during the end times aka “Armageddon” inevitably occurring by through him being the mortal son of Lucifer which is vaguely similar like in how light yagami thought of himself too sort of with him being intertwined or having an partner ship with the shinigami Ryuk after picking up the death note and then both of them gaining a cult that follows them plus then both have developed semi relationships with women who they can exploit towards their advantage along with the fact of in which after their deaths both franchises eventually had a spin off sequel/next installment in where they somehow had a son that fans did not like. And lastly with how Damien being the “anti-Christ” figure in the storyline just like in which how light also vaguely became symbolically by him referring towards his “Kira” self as the god of the new world aka a false god while also the both of them being capable of controlling the universal law of life and death by unconventional means because of their positions of power within the storyline as so, I mean the both of them even had an impactful time-skip period where they grew older in their lives. And now that I think about the original creator/writer of the death note series Takeshi Obata had to have been sort of or maybe inspired by David Seltzer’s work.
