FRI is CGEW, EU is CGEW, the strategy categories that Light had were very close against Koji, whilst the strat cats Koji took had a wider gap. Koji takes strategy. Inductive to Koji, abductive to Light, applicative to Koji, critical to Koji, holistic is CGEW. Koji takes thinking. Light takes info gathering. Koji winning insane diff is valid, but weirdly enough, Light takes more of the NFS and IRL situations while Koji takes most of the FS situations (unless it's Usogui).

"this is a shinigami's notebook!" Here the "heh" plays an vital role as it means that Light wasn't believing it to be a book belonging to a shinigami [in other words it felt like a wordplay game to him]. It is further backed up in the same chapter's backstory part where Light had to kill 2 people to finally understand that it is real. After having killed people through supernatural means [through a notebook] of course he'd be awaiting it or rather deduce that it belongs to a god of death [which directly translates to and is used interchangeably in Japanese culture with the word "Shinigami"]. Translators often use the terms "grim reaper", "god of death" and "shinigami" interchangeably since they mean the same thing. [although not exactly but the most common representation of god of death in Japanese culture is a shinigami] This "feat" isn't anything impressive. Only part was where he was waiting for the shinigami to come and take his soul away [inductive reasoning + intuitive prediction (both of which were half wrong)]
