Great bar!!! I personally would replace the bulbs with QH bulbs though, for more brightness and a better 'pop' effect.

I bet those two in-board rotators were synced together originally. They always seem to be with that rubber band connecting them under the chrome housing. I did the same in my AeroDynic.

Not necessarily. Most factory flash patterns had both sides flashing simultaneously, but there are Federal Signal patterns like #3 (alternating inside-out) that are not synchronous. For this bar, I just made up this pattern because I thought it would look cool with the dome colors.

How does FS recommend de-syncing the middle rotators? It is more complicated than just lifting up an idler gear and re-positioning it. Requires disassembly of the lightbar to access that rubber belt.

What was the current draw on this beauty? Could halogen bulbs be used?

These are the bayonet style bulbs, I am not sure what type he is using, however you could swap these with a 796, or 795 halogen bulb which share the bayonet style base. In order to use the H1 bulbs found on the H series bars you would need the adapter and change the wiring puck to a blade end.
