I have this exact same bar, the 24XQ in all clear lenses with red and blue pad 36’s. My favorite of the Aero’s I own!

Beautiful bar. I just don't understand the inner bulk 4 off angle mirrors. Seems like a complete waste of front/rear flash. Especially because there are 6 ! stationary lights blocking the mirror flash !!!

No side warning on this light bar, totally impractical.💩

I much prefer rotating light bars. I think the light penetrates daylight and darkness so well. I wouldn't dislike all the new LED light bars or even single lights so much if they actually flashed all the way on and off -- the fast flutter flickering is more of a distraction than an alert and the exact location of the source of the light is not as apparent from a distance.

Independent motors don't belong on this masterpiece

My friends mom had one for the fire department and me being 12 years old, didn't like the flash pattern. So me amd her son turned one side of the rotators to flash at a different time. So one sode of the bar would flash amd then the other side. It looked alot better

Has so much potential but Federal blew it. Too much down time with the flashes so they should've staggered the lights more. I certainly would've modified it if it were on my patrol car.

Great bar!!! I personally would replace the bulbs with QH bulbs though, for more brightness and a better 'pop' effect.

Its amazing how many moving parts went into these things. These were state of the art, top of the line in the 80's. They may draw a little more juice than the new kids on the block, but these babies are still the cats meow!

Was there a solid red function in conjunction with the rest?

I just got one for free, how do you power it? Wiring recommendations? I bought a power supply box to plug in the wall and didn’t do anything when wired. Only time I got it working was with a 18Volt drill battery.

I really dig that slow speed. There was a Guns N Roses video that had some slow motion shots of an Aerodynic and I always thought it looked killer. I'm now in the midst of a Jetsonic and looking at resistors to drop the individual rotator speed as well.
