1) what material are you cutting, and what thickness 2) how do you clean up the sod on the sides - I feel like im getting a lot .... any suggestions ? THANK you for a great tutorial It kinda look like 6 mm plywood - and you are at speed 100 and power 20 - that won't cut through... so multipla passes ? or how do you go about having less burning on the sides .. I get a lot in the layers in between the top and bottom layers in plywood..

We used 3mm MDF board, Michael. We used 100 speed and 100 power, only one pass. We place the board on a raised surface this seems to cut down on the amount of soot we get. The settings that we have used apply to our Aufero Laser2. If you have a different laser you will need to test the settings to see what works for you.

@@golasergo Thank you - I Will try some MDF the Plywood seems to suffer abit from inner layer burning more than outer, so edge is not sharp but Concave

No, I didn't only because every laser machine will have different setting requirements. This coaster is cut so I did select LINE as the layer in Lightburn but the power and speed settings were based on my laser and to be honest I have no idea what settings I used.

Why is the y axis cutting faster than the x axis?

I grouped my shape together but the offset is trying to line all of them and I can't figure it out. I used the rubber band tool and that outlined the shape but the offset still was trying to outline all the shapes. It was set to outside and I even tried outline only button but that did nothing. Help?

We used a 3mm MDF using a LINE cut with 100 power and 100 speed (mm/sec). The machine we used was the Aufero Laser .
