In the 1960s a gum ball machine randomly dispensed a little white box athe base. Many were not aware of the "prizes". One prize I found was a tiny little flint lighter-fluid lighter. Love it. Don't remember what evehappened to it.

You have an amazing collection and I wish I had at least one of those Ligne 2 lighters. I’ll have the gold one soon since I’m nearly at the point where I can buy one without making a impulse purchase that puts me in a bind. Still, that collection is insanely valuable. You had so many limited edition Ligne 2 lighters and I’m sincerely impressed! The maxijet lighters alone are bought around roughly $150 depending on what you get. The cutter is about the same, if not more. I own the silver maxijet and cutter combo but I can’t recall the exact cost in my head. I also have a beautiful (IMO) version of the minijet lighter and I didn’t see you had any of those so I’d recommend looking into them. The flat flame is a nice feature but it does have a small fuel capacity unfortunately. What’s insane is your collection of Ligne 2 lighters. All but the gold diamond head are worth (again, off the top of my head) $1,500at least. They are most likely closer to $2,000 give or take $250. Also, the cases are all bought for more than $100 and depending on where they are bought they can be over $200. So, I’m basically saying that I sincerely envy you but I am young and have plenty of time to build a collection like yours. The “Shoot the Moon” Ligne 2 model is cool imo as well as the “Vitruvian Man.” The blue “Murder on the Orient Express” is nice looking as well but I’m not fond of the title of the movie being on the lighter. If it weren’t I’d go for it. My choices atm are either the gold diamond head featured in this video or the limited edition “OpusX” in black band gold (not the red version

Born in Santa Rosa CA and I totally remember Long's drugstore. I think Long's was a California chain I could be wrong. What I do know is they are no longer in business in California. Anyways cool collection I myself recently came across 10 assorted ST Dupont lighters as well as a bunch of Dupont parts. I have no idea if there is any value to the Duponts I have because based on the limited research I have done the value of these lighters are all over the map. Any idea on where to start when trying to identify ST Dupont lighters and the value of?????

Question: I have a Zippo and whenever I refill it and don't use it even for a few weeks, the fluid evaporates; does this happen with Cartier or Dupont lighters? Would love to get one

Luis Gardea Zippo lighters use fluid and will dry out in weeks or months even if you don't use it as you have experienced. Cartier, DuPont, or any other butane lighter will last for years and should not leak between refills.

​@@StanzaWagonStanzaWagon-gh9kw im almost certain half of this guys duponts in the video are fake ...those 007 where very limited and ost nearly £3000 each .. i maybe wrong but im sure the ones he has cost £25 from china he could of shown the authetification card ...and you can tell by the ping ...his didnt seem to have any ping and also the pattern accros the spiral is different on the real ones . if flows with the direction of each part of the sprial and even crosses over in parts which is harder for the cheaper copiees to replicate ...but the copies are surpisingly good

That's a horrible cigar cutter. I had one and I regularly cut cigars with it. It looks real cool and all but the problem lies in the mechanism. When you cut the cigars, the tiny bits of leaves would fall in the crevice of the cutter and there is no way to remove it. At some point, the cutter will get sticky and jam. Thankfully mine was still under warranty and I had a new replacement sent to me. Sold it on eBay. Got myself the slim guillotine ST Dupont cutter. Much happier now!
