Thats a better idea, because propane is high octane, like about 110, and burns nice and slow like alcohol.

fyi nitromethane works BUT you really need to adjust the carby for it to work properly. it has a way quicker burn (more power) so it runs out quicker. to compensate, feed it more. another fyi; you CAN actually mix E85 (for example) with Nitromethane, but you need to add acetone for it to keep it mixed/more stable. if you don't youll get fuel 'clumps' that don't want to mix with the nitro. Maybe thats something you could test?

Adding acetone to nitro is a big no-no. It'll turn you into a rolling self-igniting bomb.

Invest into jetting kits and tune in all the different fuels you’re trying. Would love to see more fuels in the future! E85 with jetting makes for a fun ride on air cooled engines since it runs cooler than petrol

RC Nitro has oil mixed in, as far as I know it’s cheaper for a lower percent oil ratio. Cleetus Mcfarland ran a stock silverado on nitro and dyno’d it and it made crazy numbers on pure nitro but unfortunately it’s not cheap lol

You should take the carb apart and remove the main jet from the emulsion tube so it sucks up a lot of nitro methane!!!

Jet A burns like kerosene or diesel. Needs very high compression to ignite. Therefore would be useless in a gasoline engine. You would need a compression ratio 50:1-130:1 to even see a gain in power.

E85 won’t make more power even with extra fuel, but it’ll let you run more aggressive ignition timing and in the case of a turbocharged car, more boost

Pretty sure the RC fuel is also a two stroke mix thats why its blue and the exhaust is smoking and a more power increse (sometime two stoke oil in a fuel tank of a 4 stoke does give little more power)

Lighter fluid is just petrol without any additives, like zero octane boosters etc, so if you want to add nitro to the lowest octane gas you can find, well this is what you do, and its very fast burning being so low octane, and that might be useful for making your engine knock a lot, but if you try using gas like propane or LPG, they're about 110 octane and nice and smooth slowly burning fuel, now thats much more worthwhile.

I put 85% rc nitro in my 87' mr2 black top and it was way more peppy. If you want an extreme boost of power make a hho generator and just run pure hydrogen and oxygen into the bike. It'll take some tuning and it will melt the head but it's worth it. I turned my reostat way up so it would produce steam instead of hho gas and the steam felt like it made more power than the rc nitro. Steam definitely has a good effect on a 4cyl.

If you want to make fun with nitromethane.... put something like 40% nitromethane in alcohol.... methanol or ethanol... gasoline wont mix with nitromethane... then re jet you carb a LOT... you can add thunderjet style external power jet too... to get real results from nitromethane, you need a lot of fuel going trough engine... we run in real carbureted nitroharleys with huge jets.... main jet is 7.50mm and there are additional enrichment valves feeding extra jets... start adjusting with something like 3mm main jet... you might need to make your ignition timing bit earlier due to nitromethane is quite hard to ignite... ONE warning.... when playing with pure nitro, it is explosive stuff under pressure... you are welcome to ask more advises if you want...

Nitromethane isn't nitrous, but it acts like it! I used to mix ten gallons of gas with one gallon of 50% nitromethane, which had alcohol and oil added, and kept the mix safe in the fuel system, and I turned 13.07 seconds in the 1/4 mile. But it was a warmed over 350 Chevy!

That rc fuel is 20% nitro 70% methanol and 10% castor. Try looking for 30% fuel gallon for the next video and it’ll make even more power.

It's nitromethane. Idk the specific mix for the rc stuff but there's probably alcohol mixed in it. Yes nitromethane will imlrove your power A LOT but you need to tune your carb for it.... and it is insanely expensive. Also, you have to use so much nitro to actually run the engine, That a good bit of it will see past the rings and into the engine oil. Change your oil after every time you do this or you're going to The Piston
