BB is definitely a classic 200g cake. Solid performer. Very good pace, great effects, shot count, and color intermix. All at a very reasonable price point. It's an outstanding example of a small cake that a family can really enjoy in a small backyard 4th celebration - yet still does stuff that hardcore pyros appreciate - especially when mated with additional pieces. You know, I don't think that having 12 volley shooting would have been any better than the 9 that did. I have found that there is a tipping point where volley firing multiple units of a given piece actually creates less.

Don't know if you watched Cody B's last video. He had a lot of issues with sticky matching his cakes. I'm not sure if I can get any either, but it sure works be fun to try.

I usually light two of the same 200gm cakes at a time for my show. Like you said “two is better than one.” Love seeing multiple cakes lit at one time. If you watch other people’s vids when it comes to quick fusing multiple cakes they also have a few left over too. I’ll cut into the cake a bit and expose a bit more fuse which helps when fusing multiples. Great video again!

Thanks Mike. I definitely agree. I'm going to start buying multiples when I pick up 200g cakes (at least the less expensive ones 🙂). I'm actually planning a shopping trip in a couple weeks as our whole family will be traveling to NH to see @denfireworks pyro musical in person! I've gotta say that even though three of the cakes didn't fire, it was still a great display and a lot of fun. It's still good to hear that extra cakes not firing is relatively normal. Honestly, nine at once was really cool and I don't know if adding in the three would have made it that much better. Thanks again for watching! I always appreciate the feedback 👍

Yessir, BB is absolutely a favorite of ours. Also, having watched it now, I definitely agree that 9 was plenty and 3 more wouldn't have been noticeable. Funny enough, during the original conception Charlie asked for 10 and I told him that was too many. (That was before I was able to get a case). He really just wanted to light up as many as possible. All said and done, I'm really happy with how it all turned out and am already thinking about sending up multiples of other things in the future.

That’s my kind of shoot, now you know why I love sending multiple cakes up at a time. The effect of all those shots and breaks gives you the feel of sending up a true 1/1 cake but way more affordable. For the fusing I like to cut the end of the factory fuse at an angle exposing fresh black powder before I tape the new fuse to it. I also like to use 1-1/2 inch tape to give a nice long burn together and thus minimizing the chance of not igniting. Great demo and yeah it would be cool to pay a visit to pyro camp with a load of fireworks and our mongoose system and have a great time.

The fuses coming from the cakes themselves were quite short. I haven't tried cutting at an angle before, that probably would have helped a lot. We'd love to have you come to camp sometime, and the family also thinks it would be fun to come visit in ME sometime too. @@VermontPyroBoys802 the other thing that might help is cutting away the paper and exposing where the fuse actually enters the first tube of the cake. A lot of the time the fuse is taped to the cake when they wrap it to secure the tubes in place. This will shorten the fuse which is usually longer than you see. I see this all the time since we have to poke the cake where the fuse enters for our e-matching.

@@jam7504 this is the way. can almost always get another 1/4-1/2" of fuse...or easily poke a new fuse into the lift since you can easily see where to hit even if your not e-firing. We poked a lot of cakes after rows 1-3 to hit other cakes/shells before we had enough cues.

Awesome, what a great compliment! Charlie actually dreamed this one up way back in the spring. When he first asked about it I told him that it would be too expensive but that was before I got to Elite and was able to pick up a case!We're actually going to be in NH for @denfireworks pyro musical in a couple of weeks. We're not going to Elite this time but will certainly be taking advantage of the inexpensive fireworks while we're there. We're planning on visiting Stateline Fireworks in Winchester this time! 😃
