I love these kits. I own a pair of the smaller versions. I take them everywhere, especially when traveling across the country or internationally. They do it all! Thank you for sharing you thoughts on lighting. Very inspiring!

I was really amazed at how small the kit broke down and the quality of the components - way better than the older kit I've been using for years. I can totally see myself getting the smaller kit just to have it on hand. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

You´ve got one more suscriber from México. Your video goes straight to the point, it`s easy to understand and there were useful insights that are practical. No nonsense, no flashy things. Thank you for the effort you put in this, greetings my friend.

Thanks so much, I'm glad to hear that these breakdowns are doing what I'd hoped they would do. Feliz Navidad amigo!

Great video! Thank you for being so detailed in your explanation. It truly helps! Subscribed!

Thanks for the comment. I'm glad this level of detail is helpful. I wasn't sure if people would respond to it and I've been pleasantly surprised by the (mostly) positive response. More to come!

@ I especially loved the technique you showed about bouncing the light off the ceiling for ambient light! That was a gold nugget! Thanks again, and looking forward to your next one.
@MattSpaughКүн бұрын
@@whoabrian I use that a LOT in corporate environments. I always try to turn off all the lights in those spaces so I can have full control over the look of my frame. It's really amazing how different placement and bounce angles can change the look.

Thanks! This was a fun one. The Rapid Flag kit is so much nicer than the cheaper flag set that I used in the past. Thanks for watching!

Thanks - this was a fun one. That Manfrotto kit really is a huge step beyond the kits I've used in the past. Easy to carry, easy to set up, and really nice results. Thanks for watching!

What would you have done to eliminate the big reflection on the front of the picture frame if this was a real gig? Put something under one side of the frame to change the angle of incidence? Great stuff, thanks.
@MattSpaugh5 күн бұрын
Yes, putting something behind the frame could've solved the problem on the initial setup, but once I moved to the book light, I like probably would've had to change my camera angle and/or moved the light. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.

I don't know what that means but I'm going to hope that it's positive! Either way, thanks for watching.

Whilst this is an informative video, the enormous mic hanging off your collar is really distracting, and detracts from the watchability in my opinion.

I guess I'll grow my beard out a few more inches so I can hide it next time. Good grief...
@goodjuicewhiskyКүн бұрын
@@MattSpaugh I mean... I felt like that was constructive criticism? Your previous Lighting Breakdown had great audio, and no mic to be seen delivering a far more polished look.
