A little explanation about the movement. We had two very similar hardstyle DJs after eachother. To try to separate their shows and the look of it i made the choice to have a more chunky movement on Audiotricz and a more spread out look for the other DJ. Otherwise It's easy to have a bit to similar show and no consistency thruout the set. Oneoffs gigs doesnt matter But This was a festival gig and We had other artists like Joucy M and Fat Rat etc! Had to make up a Look for each set and go with it!

Awesome operating. I really like how perfect you are on time and the right use of the video wall. Maybe next time you could program some more movements ;)

Very good job, but, why you only use a single effect of pan and tilt with the beams?
@djdeaf137 жыл бұрын
Because it fits their songs. They all sound the same.

dj videos I don't agree with that, as a lightning programmer and operator for the past 5 years i know you should use some different effects.
@volumelux2537 жыл бұрын
I respect your opinion. But if you have 5 years of experience you would know that we all have our diffrent styles and methods. And lighting is all about perspective and taste aswell. Don't lock yourself into box of "musts". Client and DJ was happy. And people had fun. Thats the point. To create a experience for others.

@@volumelux253 Agreed! If the client is happy than theres nothing to tall about here.

0:37 it really looked like you knew the music in advance. How did you do that?
@0Phyzer05 жыл бұрын
Normally the CDJs on which the Djs are playing are connected via software to a monitor at FOH

@@0Phyzer0 I always check who the artists are and what tracks they normally play. And afcourse keeping up with the music industry is a big advantage as well!
@0Phyzer03 жыл бұрын
@@lars_geurts45 Obviously and if you can see on your screen what track they are playing next helps a lot^^
@lars_geurts453 жыл бұрын
@@0Phyzer0 I almost never had gigs where they use recordbox or cuelab to look what tracks will be played next. But for sure it works!
@0Phyzer03 жыл бұрын
@@lars_geurts45 At almost every bigger Festival/Event they use Showkontrol which is sometimes even required by some LDs to not only see wich tracks play next but also to get BPM or control lights and lasers via Timecode.

You don't need timecode for flash & trash like this, just button mashing. Literally all you're doing is flashing a cue 98% of the time.
@volumelux2536 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct sir!
@reybarr86706 жыл бұрын
timecode is so fake. It's brilliant for a broadway show, but for a dj its all riggggggggggggggggggged. play it live guys.
