As we all know, that light has two types… Natural light & Artificial light.
We have already discussed about the natural light in our natural light importance video. You can check out in the above link of the series. & we are also familiar about the natural light. But artificial light has some terms or types, which most of the people are not aware of. It’s a bit confusing for them. Like where to use, how to use, the purpose of light etc.
But today from this video I will clear all the types or categories of artificial light. After this video, you will be aware of all the terms and can use them in your future work.
So let’s begin:-
1. General Lighting:- We use this type of light in our daily activities. Like ceiling mounted lights or chandeliers.
2. Ambient Lighting:- This type of light is used to create an inviting ambience. Like wall sconces or floor lamps.
3. Task Lighting:- Task lighting is used for a particular task. Like desk lamp or the light used under overhead cabinet in the kitchen.
4. Accent Lighting:- To highlight a wall or an object, we use accent lighting. Like the spot lights in art galleries.
5. Mood Lighting:- To create a specific mood in a space or room, mood lighting is being used.
6. Decorative Lighting:- At any occasion or at any festival time, we use decorative lighting for decoration purpose. As we use in Diwali decoration or at Christmas eve.
