Spent two hours clearing all the forges with figured that out on my own with no objective marker, cleared the corruption from the aqueduct with no quest marker guiding me, and freed the corruption from the air machinko place and here i finally read the reason i cant open the red translucent door is because i havent saved hephestos

Did not like this quest at all as clearly reading the comments here another quest line needs to be completed first BEFORE doing this, surely it would of made more sense to not have this quest show up on the map until AFTER completing the previous quest, poor design by the developers

The fans aren't that far away from the forge it's above it and slightly to the left on the map. You can see two round structures on the map on a thin piece of land between the sea and a lake.

You have to complete some of the other forge quests before hand, then it’ll continue

i lighted al the towers, found the 3 signs to shoot. then im totally lost lol so it seems have to continue the main mission before you see the corruption u need to clear, one thing about this game im not too happy about. no alert you wont be able to finish a quest.

I found it easier to drop the coal in the fire and then throw the lit coal in the furnaces.

The fact you need to complete a whole other questline to do this is posisbly the worst choice I've ever seen in a game. Of course it doesn't matter because the internet exists but if you couldn't just look up the answer, this would literally be impossible. No one is going to assume they need to complete some random questline they have no reason to think is even in the game. Then, they aren't going to come back here after completing that questline because they'll have seen they can't open it and will just assume it doesn't work. The fact that after all this time, Ubisoft didn't think "maybe we should give players literally even the slightest hint of how to complete this" is fucking ridiculous. I thought this was a rather simple concept. If you want your players to do certain things that nobody would ever figure out without guidance, you tell them what needs to be done. But not in this game. "It doesn't matter if you have no way of knowing how to solve a certain puzzle you should just solve it" If I knew I'd be dealing with bullshit like this I would've never got this game. Guess it's my fault for assuming it was possible to not make an overly confusing and convoluted puzzle
