I'm impressed by this movie. This is the earliest Western I've seen about a Gunslinger wanting to leave the life behind but inevitably gets pulled back in. Very much like: . The Gunfighter (1950) with Gregory Peck . Shane (1953) with Alan Ladd . Unforgiven (1992) with Clint Eastwood Congratulations Bob Steele, you win the trophy for first "Gunman trying to leave his past" in a western! 🏆 This is a great gem of a movie. 💖 ~ 4:58 ~ LUVVV watching the expert quickdraws - over & over. I used to practice that feat a lot when I was a little girl (with fake, but heavy-for-me, guns in my holster - haha ... then discovered I was a better shot at targets than my husband & his boss with the real dealios 😏 ... 'til they got too jealous & plotted against me by handing me a beeeg gun, the kickback of which realllyyyyy hurt my shoulder as hubby caught 98-lb me B4 I hit the ground - lol ... fixed me for the day into reluctantly watching them play 😬). Anticipating more quickdraw action to come. 👍✌🤙 🇺🇸 ⚖ 👊 If you wish for peace, prepare for war. 💖
