Also, none of the Mane Six had a part in restoring the Crystal Heart and saving the day this time around. That all fell to the Royal Family, Starlight, and Sunburst, so glad to see them save the day for once. I've just got one last thing to say now. There is the matter of the new versions of Cadence and Shining Armor's Crystal Pony appearances and Celestia and Luna experiencing it for the first time. Did you like that, Lightning Bliss?

My oc, Rain Sparkle, became a princess when the world was at stake and the other princesses were down for good. She did not _want_ to be a princess, she was doing what she felt would give the creatures of Equestria hope for the future, hope that that there is still a chance they can win this war, and most importantly, hope in each other. Hence her now being the princess of hope.

I'm tardy to the party on this one, but in the book Diary of the two sisters it talked about how alicorns used to live on the mountain where Canterlot exists(I think, it's been a while since I've read it), also lets mention how Flurry Heart is potentially more powerful than both Celestia and Luna as she being a newborn basically shattered the crystal heart with a scream.(unless all alicorn's voices are just that powerful and they just restrain it most of the time)

I have a thought about Celestia and Luna's limits against the snow. It seems thus far that though alicorns are generally very powerful in their own right they are still specialized- each has something unique to themselves that the others either can't do or must work much harder than others to do (yea Celestia took over the moon but it was probably terribly taxing on her, and has anypony tried any of Cadance's love magic? I haven't seen it) My point is perhaps there is a 'slot' for a weather alicorn, or perhaps an alicorn for each season, or a nature alicorn. (Now I want to write a backstory for an earth pony becoming a nature alicorn, ha!)

This season opener actually gives me lots of hanging. Aside from the points you mentioned, I'm more frustrated as how that Crystal Heart can be break easily? And if it can break that easily, why King Sombra didn't destroy it in the first place? It make sense that Sombra doesn't want that kingdom to perish because he wants the citizen, but still keeping his only weakness seems illogical.

i think maybe the reason the crystal ponies weren't all sparkly anymore was because the heart was busy trying to store up its energy for the crystaling. that way when it got an extra boost from the ceremony. it would be able to put out twice as much power as before, but because of that it had to stop giving off the energy it used to make the crystal ponies all crystally. that sounds like a good explaination. right?

also. i cant help but think that sombra had a thing or two to do with that wild storm. like it was another part of his dark magic that he made to keep any ponies from trying to run off and get help. after all he can create a door to your worst nightmare. so creating a dark magic based wild snow storm should be easy for him. another good explaination. correct?

1) I believe that the tree of harmony made the everfree forest magicly as an act of defence,aftet all there were a lot of threats in Equestria. 2)I also think that the tree also gave Celestia and Luna their alicorn state, or even created them,remember at the season 5 finalle the tree knew that each ultimate future was wrong so it managed to keep the map at its possition, with means that the tree knows when something is gonna happen and acts in order to keep things right.So my theory is that the tree made Celestia and Luna to face Discord using the elements,but had to do it years before that so the sisters could grow and master their magic on time

Actually, there's one other theory that I don't know if it was actually brought up any point until now that I have, that which in fact I'm surprised that with all the theories floating around, we HAVEN'T thought up til now. And this pilot gives further proof to it (though I'm still not 100% sure on it). See, you will note that all alicorns have both horns and wings. You will also note that changelings also have horns and winks. You will ALSO note that Princess Cadence is the Princess of both love and the Crystal Empire. You will notice that the Changelings are pretty damn powerful despite being bug-horses. At the risk of being repetitious, you'll note that Queen Chrysalis targeted Cadence's wedding specifically above all other weddings. And finally, you will note that a changeling can be seen flying towards the Crystal Empire at the end of the two-parter. Now I'm not presuming anything, but perhaps Queen Chrysalis was once, in fact, not only an alicorn, but the original alicorn of love. Think about it; according to the show, alicorns are made and not born by earning their title by the princesses (usually for dealing with multiple crises through their major strengths), and note that Cadence is surprisingly young for an alicorn; being teenage-like in years when Twilight was just a foal. As for how Chrysalis became a Changeling, perhaps she simply grew too greedy for the power of love and an as of now unknown force corrupted her and her followers into the bug-like beasties we know today. And this also explains the rushed promotion to alicorn that Twilight got in Season 3 and why Cadence was so quickly given the title of Crystal Empire protector; to help the aging Luna and Celestia make sure Chrysalis doesn't cause the destruction of Equestria again after her fall into becoming a Changeling! Now, again, this is all just me spouting off a headcannon that, for all I know, could very much be wrong. Doubly so because the season's just started, and right now, we have bigger, Starlight and Trixie-related problems to worry about if this week's preview's to be believed. Make of what I said what you will.

In the journal of the two sisters, it is confirmed that Celestia and Luna were born alicorns, so when you stated that Celestia said "the first time in equestrias history" which means they were born before Equestria was founded, so she was stating since equestrias founding, the baby's was the first natural born alicorn. My theory is that anypony has the ability to be an alicorn. However, they must first be able to bring harmony through their talent, hence the cutie marks. Once a pony has achieved this, then their entire DNA is shifted and have the ability to pass their genetics to their offspring. Also, Celestia and Luna were an unicorn and pegasus respectively before they became alicorns. This would make sence for them to be related to Blue Blood and Cadance. And just like the comics, the chapter books aren't show canon. Also, you credited me twice… just to let you know.

My head canon regarding Celestia's statement is simply that Celestia and Luna aren't FROM equestira. This is backed up by The Journal of the Two Sisters, which states that they were born Alicorns and didn't even get their cutie marks till they came to Equestria, were crowned, had a bunch of adventures and then learn from Starswirl that the Unicorns that had been raising the sun and moon were left burned out from the effort and decide to take over, which boosts their magic instead and earns their Cutie Marks.

i like the theory that they weren't born and raised in equestria that they where born somewhere else and that they were born alicorns or if not the hair flow is just another step for twilight until she becomes a super saiyan goddess. (big DBZ fan) and only came to equestria to help it from the windigos and won't leave until they know they can. Like for example twilight who became an alicorn not to long ago can most likely take over Celestia's place but that would freak out the other ponies way to much to see them gone especially to not have someone else to fall through incase something happens to her. I am not sure about starlight being an alicorn though if she does become one then she is going to need a lot more lessons than twilight did just to catch up to her.
