I was actually disappointed with some of These releases. They are hit and miss for the most part. What I don’t get is Hasbro’s lack of attention to detail On the Morphers. They aren’t suppose to be flat they way they are. I would’ve got Rid of the effect piece and instead took on a detachable morpher, fully sculpted fully painted with accuracy. But yes, this is definitely a cash grab. I know it costs Hasbro a ton of money to make a née mold, so that’s why they use those same molds till exhaustion. But it’s not fair to the Sentai community that they are having to dish out $22 dollars for the same mold and lack of paint and missing the Mark when it comes to likeness in sculpt on face. They messed up Rocky, and boy this black ranger face is grotesque. Lol! Overall I think the black ranger is a decent figure.

I don't care about re-used molds here cause it makes sense. What I don't understand is how they can be so stingy with paint apps when like 98% of this line is re-used molds. You would think they'd put that extra money into paint and making sure the helmets and head sculpts are as accurate as possible but I guess not. I still don't know why people were so excited for Hasbro to start making the toy lines. They clearly don't give a damn about this brand and only look at it is a money maker, cause they know the people in this fandom will buy anything. Like there's no way in hell that Hasbro would have let a Marvel Legends or Black Series figure leave the factory the same way the Dino Thunder White Ranger did missing crucial paint apps. Hasbro just don't care.

@@RedXPower That's not the point. That kind of factory error would not have happened and does not happen with Black Series or Marvel Legends. Also Hasbro's customer service isn't any better. It's down right terrible. Sent in for a replacement helmet nearly 3 months ago. Still waiting on it. Messaged them about it and they said my order got delayed and never notified me about it. Said they would ship another one. 3 weeks later and still no helmet despite them saying 7-10 business days. Even with Corona delays shouldn't be taking this long, not when other people got their helmet in less than 3 weeks. I'm pretty done with this company. They don't care about consumers clearly.

That alone just proves that Hasbro Customer service is inconsistent and are incompetent when it comes to communicating with their customers about problems they are trying to get solved. "I got mine with no fuss, so did many others" Yeah that's nice but what about the people who are having to fight for replacements like myself? It should be a smooth process for EVERYONE not just people who get lucky. I don't know how many times I have to tell you, there is a difference between a couple of batches of figures in a production run having QC issues and an ENTIRE production run of figures missing CRUCIAL paint apps. Hasbro letting that slip is just flat out incompetence and them not giving enough of a crap. Have you ever seen an entire production run of Captain America Marvel legends leave the factory with his shield missing the Star in the middle? HELL NO. Have you ever seen a entire production run of Boba Fetts missing Paint on his helmet? HELL NO. My point is something like the DT White incident would never have happened if it were a ML or SW Black series figure. Yes I have a grudge cause this company doesn't care about their consumers and it shows it by making sought after figures like CW Ahsoka a WALMART Exclusive as well as cutting all kinds of corners with their "Premium" Lightning collection line despite damn near every ranger sharing the same molds from the neck down. I don't know how people like you can throw on your cape and play Super Hero with these companies. No I don't need to find a new hobby. I'm having quite a lot of fun with my S.H Figuarts, I don't mind paying a bit more money to a company that actually gives me my money's worth and cares enough about their customers that they put limits on their exclusives so people can't scalp them. Keep shilling for Hasbro I could care less

Hasbro knows they can get away with being lazy and short changing everyone with this line cause there are no other options unless you're only interested in teams that the SHF line managed to finish. If not you either sit there and buy their half assed products like a good boy while they make you wait eons before completing the team you want or you just don't buy in and get nothing..Man I'm so torn on this line.

Just to add is that if you have all 5 main rangers, than you can make the Power Blaster. Personal if you have the Legacy collection then you can take the blade blaster from them and use them with the Lighting collection figures. I think the legacy metallic weapons works with the lighting. It's really a back and forth.

Yeah, butterfly joint is an overrated "feature". The problem is, as far as I know, none of the $20-ish figure nailed the butterfly joints, most of them only add that just for the sake it's there. The only one who can nail it only the "high-end" figures and most of the japanese figures.

Butterfly joints I find most helpful on big chunky or armoured figures who's movement is limited anyway, seems unnecessary on this 🤷‍♂️

I can say that this is mostly wrong. Every import I get has the butterfly joint to just be there. They don’t do it well at all. While hasbro has most butterfly joints that actually move forward and back instead of just being a separate piece. Most mezcos have no butterfly and the one that do doesn’t move forward, most comic mafex figures move forward and back sparingly, and for shf I have two that don’t move for shit. While the legends I have can actually move forward so it really depends. I find a better time with butterfly joints with the 20$ figures then the ones that are 100$ simply because it can actually move forward and back.

The behind the scenes stuff with this line hasn’t helped at all. The people held over from the Bandai transfer put a lot into getting this line going and then got booted very shortly after. So I think they were only involved with the first wave or two. Hence the decline.

Zack is my personally Favorite MMPR Black Ranger. I love Adam for his Zeo and Turbo Appearances. Something to note about this line so far is that there is very few figures who are legit white where it needs to be white, a lot of them are off white and having them all together really shows. 90% of these civilian heads are not good or are baddddd. So I was planning on sending you my copy of the Kickstarter Spawn for review but I mean, Shartamus got a sample of it already and he gave it his gripes and I assuming you'll have the same gripes like the torso and the pre-posed head sculps, I figure you'd give it a 6/10, a lot of accessories but the lack of articulation and pre-posedness probably knocks it down to that score

1. Adam is my favorite MMPR Black Ranger. Can't stand Rocky or Aisha. 2. This Black Ranger is probably the best LC of the MMPR team. 3. Ok so I am a hardcore Ranger fan. Well beyond just MMPR. I get it. LC has its issues. Hasbro is CLEARLY trying to figure this out still so frankly I am just dealing with the growing pains. The old Bandai stuff was always hit and miss. They have decided to halt all PR or Sentai Figuarts. Sooooo what else is there? Nothing. Can Hasbro do better? Yes! Will they? Who knows. The only way to find out is to support the brand for better or for worse cause we all do it for other brands and companies. 4. You were right that the rest of the MMPR figures have red on the Morpher. Black does not. (Exclusive Dragon Sheild Black does lol)

I am happy with the line overall for the price. I just think getting the same figure over and over(essentially) is what makes it dull. I do think the new bad guys coming out look pretty good. King Sphinx looks very promising so maybe that will rejuvenate the line some with new sculpts. I'm only buying MMPR figures so I'm pretty much done with the exception of any villains that look good. Lol

Shit... 6 is generous. Saw this figure in the wild, should've been an easy buy. The unmasked Zack head was so ungodly terrible I left it. Just as I left the Ranger Slayer on the shelf for being a multicolor plastic nightmare. Just as I left Trini on the shelf for the horrible paint job. These figures suck and buying them only teaches Hasbro we'll buy this shit cause they slapped a nostalgic license on it.

I only watched mmpr and not alot of it but I've been very tempted to get the origional zed and Rita but star wars is more important. I'd rather have my flippyhead mmpr they were awesome 😂. The gloves and feet are pretty bad, and WHAT IS THAT FACE 😔

Then dont buy these figures folks simple as that no point to bash on the figures if you don't like em Objectively your comparing apples to oranges i e Figuarts to Hasbro if you want something accurate and is what to see from either the sentai or MMPR chuck full of articulation and all the right gear then go with Figuarts line if you want something decent and is close enough to a decent figure then go with Hasbro just that simple whining or insulting the company for making the figures the way there are is like comparing a $5 little Ceaser pizza to a 5 star Italian restaurant that like $50 or more their not the same league Are they amazing figures? No Are they horrible figures?No Do they work as a toy? Yes they do Are they figure we want? Yes and No Overall if you don't like then heres a simple thing to do don't buy them simple as that not that complicated in the end you may not like it but in the end you lose cause you giving then money anyways for these "bad" figures

If you're a fan of the series, you want good figures. If hasbro is offering figures, we as fans and collectors and the consumer have a right to tell them what they're doing wrong. "Don't buy it", there is truth to that, but also having 1 in hand let's you point out the flaws they need to address. What needs to stop is people buying these and saying they're good. You don't have to be figuarts to have an accurate helmet sculpt, or decent proportions or a morpher that looks good on the belt...this is not a price line issue. Hasbro does need competition though. The fact that they are the only ones doing figures of this scale lets them get away with pouring out garbage.

You make a lot of valid points that is for sure Me personally i like Power Ranger i do ever since i was little i had boy the rangers and megazords tho when i went into middle school i stopped as it didnt appeal to me as much but still i love PR with a passion but my problem that i have with Powrr ranger stuff in general is that there are no good figures from amy companys some have one or two things Its either a okay sculpt but the overall quality is not up to code or looks like every generic buff out super hero toy which is not good either You cant win either way and and you wind wondering who ever gonna make some good PR figures and thats the biggest down because the Legacy line you had the majority of figures but you would never have it complete and was such a hassle when you have only half the team for others and got so annoying Yes Hasbro can make good figures i know this i seen my fair share of some really really good ones im not denying that but you gotta remember their working off something that is already something many fans domt have and those are decent articulated Super Sentai figures the only thing you can get of super sentai are usually the mechas Ranger figures are a rare thing to come by that arent just a Vinyl figure who arms can move around and nothing else so thats something else some.folks might wanna also consider too that and if you don't like the product they are giving out then you don't need to buy only to bash on it because they you look like a fool because spend your money to get it you are giving them profit at the end of the day Again I love PR i do but i as fan and just a guy who collecting on and off Im just happy personally to have a representation of the rangers in plastic yes they could be better but at least they work their not falling apart or breaking as soon as you get them out of the box like many other figures out there buying Figuarts is already a big no since they only ever made the MMPR group and havent made any more super sentai groups not to metion the crazy money you gotta pay for just to get thdm like nearly selling and arm and leg for just a few of them so in my book that already a win for me since i can find other series like In Space,SPD just to name a few But once again i understand and fully knowledge your points but also have to point out some things that are not in our control we it up to us telling them how the figures should be made those things be more expensive then a third party transformers figure so thats kinda another factor to also consider
