I think Suhr guitars really raised the bar in the industry about 10 years ago. Now almost every manufacturer has their own version of boutique super strat like this one.
@diatarussoulbane4 жыл бұрын
Music man has been doing this since 1983, while they're originally more famous for their basses, their guitars or "super strats" like the silhouette and silhouette special have been made with as much quality for much longer than 10 years. Suhrs are sweet guitars, but EBMM was doing it first, if that sort of thing matters anyway

Great demo Rabea and great playing. I have owned Musicman guitars and love their build quality, neck profiles and pickup choices but their increased pricing particularly with these guitars retailing at around £3,200 is ridiculous! Unfortunately, for Musicman the timing of the pricing of these guitars is going to look even worse in light of an emerging global recession. When you consider that you can buy a Harley Benton Fusion Pro 2 with flamed maple top and roasted maple neck for around £345 (amazing tops and necks for the price point) and if you wanted, to ‘up spec’ the pickups and every bit of hardware to bring it up to Musicman spec, you would still have £2000 to spare , it’s a dizzying thought. I know the HB’s are made in Indonesia and the MM ‘S are made in the USA but even considering that , £3200 - really!!!
@djencode4 жыл бұрын
I think the UK really get's hooped on the price. The cost of this guitar here in Canada is 3900 CAD which is 2,248 Pounds Sterling.
@mountainman87753 жыл бұрын
I‘m listening to this demo and love the sound of my Harley Benton fusion so much, I‘m hearing the tones of the HB all the time. If I was to upgrade my HB and money was no issue, I‘d buy this guitar in a flash, but only because it reminds me of my HB‘s tone so much and that‘s a great guitar for around 300 pounds. The MM has got more sustain, a tad more articulation in the pups and more harmonics, but the basic tone is the same as the fusion HH ebony with Floyd Rose, at 10 times the price. Both are African mahogany with similar build concepts, both are great instruments.
@talkychris2 жыл бұрын
Stunning guitar. Shame about the price. Even the Sterling version is £1770-1900 in the UK and that makes it by far the most expensive Indonesian made guitar I can think of.
