Do you think Caius gets a happy ending? He's definitely a hero for releasing the last of the yeul's, but he's not in the new world with everyone else. I think he deserves a place in the new world as he redeemed himself, but maybe he's happy to stay there

@nezkeys79 oh for sure!! I wasn't expecting him to do something like that, so it caught me off guard! But that was such a kind thing to do 🥹 and him being in the doomed world to basically be the god of death... That was commendable, but he didn't seem happy to be there. But I think him knowing that the last Yeul will live in the new world, kind of puts him at rest. And he has all the other Yeul's that are there with him. He could've chosen to be "saved" but didn't want to, because he knew Yeul would follow him into the new world. If he was selfish he would've done that and doomed the new world as well. So he definitely turned into a hero for me 😸 I feel like both Caius and the Yeul's will be happy with one another. I would like to believe this 😸 since Caius said "a child needs to be looked after" about Yeul.

this is probably one of the most beautiful endings in a jrpg,the game explicitly communicate that the characters reborn in the our world as we know, is ease to see the african continent when the cgi shows the new planet from above,in the post credit scene lightning is literaly on france

Ever since I first saw this ending upon original release, I have thought that they should’ve saved this for the very end of the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole. Because I personally think it’s so cool to have these characters who are the first to ever have their own trilogy of games and who have by far been through more and suffered more than any other cast of Final Fantasy charactersto travel to earth and have all the fantasy removed from their lives. Making it the true Final Fantasy.
