Steiner&Beatrix are my favorite ship in this game. Can't even say why, but I always loved them. Also i hope you took the opportunity to visit Vivi in his grandpa's cave. Sadly there is not a big time frame to go there and a lot of people miss it because of that. Also I will look up for you playing Nier. Loved it but it's been so long for me that I basically forgot most of it by now. So it will be nice to revisit the story together with you. Never played Automata so far. Mostly because it felt way different. Still a great game as far as I know.

Okey this is the highlight of the stream for me! You are the perfect person for this whole letter situation, kinda like Eiko you have a deep understanding of where every character was emotionally. The smile when Steiner was handling Baku with some tact, everything. Great episode! A quick consideration about remakes, we would gain something and lose something. With a 3rd person camera or cinematic camera the letter scene wouldnt be the same, the way its framed like a stage in a play with us (and the others characters!) as the audience. FF9 + Moguri Mod its perfect on its own right imo.

In this video you start to see how Steiner has changed a bit. I just love how this game actually does this in a believable manner with so many of the characters.

@40:00 a remake of this scene with voice acting would be so funny and romantic! Hopefully IX gets to be the next remake on the list.

The song playing at the beginning here, I think it's like two songs at once. Both Eiko's Theme and Dagger's theme (a variant of Melodies of Life). I noticed they were both playing at the same time in the last portion of previous video too.

You forgotted Stilzkin in Alexandria, he is at a castle and you find out that the purple Moogle is using an item to make his coat shiny and it's the same item used to fix the machines that keep Moogles delivering letters. The card game is so hard in ff9, so many random numbers involved that sometimes you feel there isn't too much strategy to it. A save before is a very good idea! Beating the monster in the shop is also awesome as it will get you excellent items! There is also a trick for the auction house. To get the best prices wait until the item is just about to be sold and a bid for 100 gil more and you autowin the item. I hope you're well I loved how you got so excited for the romance parts with the letter! Such a great scene, especially after the backdrop of Zidane's depression. i can't wait to see your reactions to other parts of the game

Amazing epic moment, seeing all those huge powers that we saw level cities unleashed in this remote location with only us as witness. The final confrontation between former allies. The beach scene is actually the ending for disc 2! Starting from alexandria you are in disk 3. It really feels like two different episodes or seasons. Also I see people mentioning things from the translation, yeah the english translation of FFIX is notoriously mediocre some mods even change some dialogues for the better, its whatever now but maybe in future playtroughs you can try some or have the correct translations in mind!

If i could sum up the first cutscene, i would say Unfair. You JUST found your daughter and she dies in your arms. Hits like a punch to the gut. Even over a decade later, i can barely watch that scene without crying.
