It's my first time playing poe this league, and I was using ground slam of earthshaking slayer before I came across your video and I was so close to giving up the build and maybe even the game altogether. It felt like I wasn't doing much and always dying to random stuff. But I switched over to this build and have so so so so much fun with lightning strike. Hey man, thanks for the guide! I was on groundslam of earthshaking and was looking at swapping over to LS so this came at a perfect time. I was saving up for Yoke and Taming and have got both up and running now. Decided to swap with whatever yellows I had with life and resists and the build worked immediately, the tankiness is incredible, although damage is still a bit low, but my stuff is all over the place. So: 1) how crucial is precise technique? Hitting enough accuracy without taking an extra acc wheel has been a struggle. There's that shield that makes it so attacks can't ve evaded, I'm thinking of using that as a stopgap until I fix my yellows. 2) what are the most important support gems to quality to 20 immediately? Or alternatively buy them with quality from trade site. I already bought a 20/20 Vaal LS 3) what are the places you're getting your str/int for minimum gem requirements? Just gear? I had to take some nodes on the tree (lvl 92) 4) I haven't gotten the lethal pride yet, your suggested seed is gone from trade. What are the most critical nodes I should search for on the calculator? 5) how critical are the other jewels? As I said I'm leaning on the passive tree right now for stats and accuracy so I'm a bit starved for points. Thanks!

You can use the shield as a stopgap, not a bad decision. The gem qualities are all "meh" other than lightning strike which is a requirement. So just upgrade in whatever order. Some parts of the build use nodes for int/str some use rings, some use jewels just depends on where you are in progress. The lethal pride is there to get rage on hit, if you can also find double damage, intimidate on hit and melee bonuses those are good. I'm not sure what you mean by the other jewels? Accuracy can also be had on gloves, helm, rings, ect.. and make sure your sword has accuracy if your not using vaal blade.

How do you deal with the low mana on this build? If I miss my first shot, I'm stuck waiting for mana regen, correct? I grew way too attached to greater proj + lifetap on the early versions of the build and moving further changes this significantly. The DPS grows significantly as well, though :) This is the first build, apart from RF chief, that I'm trying to follow and got me further in the game than I've ever been. So, kudos!

Turns out if I lower the mana cost a little further, I can keep spamming LS again. Interesting. It cost me 2 skill points, though, so I'll see if I can offload this onto my gear rather than skillpoints.

I craft some, and I buy some. The key too buying gear is to find gear that has all but 1 mod you need with an empty affix slot for bench crafting the missing affix on though. Make several searches too find gear that is a good fit in a good budget. Come by the stream sometime and I can help you with path of trading :)

Hey man, I am following your build (High Budget 3, atm) and I noticed that you are using Elemental Mastery (Hits have a 25% chance to treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resistance values as inverted) and The Interrogation Small Cluster Jewel, changing the ailments to scorch, brittle, and sap. The thing is, scorch causes the affected target to have their Elemental Resistances lowered by up to 30%. Doesn't that mean you are actually giving the enemy more fire resistance because of the Elemental Mastery "inverted" node?

Sort of but not. You are giving up a little free inversion damage versus pinnacle bosses but your scorch isnt 30% versus bosses because we're multi-ele build. Scorch is an ailment thats "up 30%" based on the hit damage versus the life pool. Its much more effective versus low health targets than high health.

Claws are fine and if you aren't crafting they are readily available to purchase, jewelled foil is higher dps, claw is higher recovery and corsair sword is easier accuracy capping, just all options

While leveling I used Ancestral Call and Returning Projectile. Shocks almost fill the screen. I also used Wherling Blades for kiting. Also haste for way faster casts. I did have to put points into leech mana. As long as I am casting I never run out. and at 64 get a Rebuke of the Vaal sword. You won't regret it. I got mine for 2 chaos. lol Very cheap.

Could you explain on when to switch to 2handed weapon? I'm finished with mid level gear and trying to decide what to gear next. Is it better to buy the weapon you have or try and craft? Personally I would advise sticking to sword and board and not using the two-handed, you can do 50-200m dps with sword and board and I think thats a much better overall option. If you really wanted to use a 2h then the time to switch is when you can afford a 1k+ ele dps 2h with return proj enchant

unique sword is good until you can get a crafted one, I recommend buying them over crafting because the season currency is scuffed and crafting is expensive, but I can always help craft. And yes it crafts the same as an ele claw or any other ele weapon.

Only the early budget has precise technique, later we don't have that at all. Use the loadouts function on the top left to switch between build tiers or you wont be getting all of the changes.

I hate the idea of a claw fist weapon, and I hate a dagger with a shield. It is just plain silly. Stupid even. I want a sword, and swords are very doable with this build.

How come you've chosen Circle of Life anoint over, say, something like Arcing Blows? What am I missing that makes Circle of Life so good?

Circle of life is tremendous recovery with life on hit and damage recoup. It helps a lot with sustain and is dirt cheap annoint. If you are tanky enough feel free to go with a higher dps annoint.
