in the updated version, you get about 40 seconds on the death counter. then when you kill the first part it goes away.. and a new 40 second death counter comes up. in the version you have, you are just meant to die.

i think its technically possible with the right build + enough movespeed to dodge the timer for a little while, although im not sure how limited the free version is with respect to blessing upgrade unlocks

Swordsman I think can become insanely OP if you stack as much % bonus health on armor as you can, then get the necklace that gives % damage per POINT of missing health. Since he can clear 1k hp easily, that adds up a TON..

yeah i was getting 130% on this last night with just that and because there are so many different +hp skills and items it just snowballed. funny enough, I stopped taking regen, and just used level ups to get hp through adding another + to max.

Base Crit Damage is base crit multiplier. Crit is calculated as Damage * (2 + percent modifiers), so the base crit damage would make the 2 2.2 -> Damage * (2.2 + percent modifiers). Example 100 damage +50 crit damage = 300 damage 100 damage + 50 crit damage 2.2 base = 330

Base crit damage is multiplicative with the % bonuses. I forget what the number was but 0.2 is a 20% increase to your total crit damage if I'm understanding it correctly. So 1000% crit damage with .2 base increase would be 1200% It really just comes down to when you have enough crit damage, a multiplicative increase would be more valuable than another flat 20 on top. Same with attack speed and projectiles. Attack speed is more important to a point, then more projectiles is a multiplicative increase to your attacks per second. So here, 10 attacks per second with +30% projectiles would become 13 attacks per second. I also feel weird on the wording, know its probably powerful and avoid it because its just worded strangely. The tooltip for base crit does say its a multiplicative increase to your crit damage though.

Additional attacks are so strong with this character.... if he would have taken the upgrades plus the item, he'd be always stroking twice which is a 100% increase on DPs with only 2 or 3 level ups

skipping the lightning rank 1 upgrade, explaining why in a way that makes no sense, taking pickup range instead, then getting the exact same lightning upgrade a few levels later and looking at it, forgetting everything he said, and picking it. #Sifd

You really should stop ignoring additional attacks - it's not just main weapon but all your weapons, so more lightning, more needles, etc. Noticed you skipped on the more projectile gloves to choose attack speed as well. Especially with lightning, you can perma-stun bosses and trivialize the floor bosses.

Lightning Strikes are overpowered. They easily out-DPS any other skill in the game, even on classes like the FireStarter whose whole identity is FIRE. I actually wouldn't mind it being nerfed before full release. It's too strong and it pushes out other archetypes as well as makes the game too samey / too easy.

@@QBrute_ I was having a hard time getting lighting strike mastery also. I thought because of the quest being listed in the haunted caverns you had to get it there. I ended up getting it on the viaduct with the archer, not sure if focusing on crit helped or not but ended the round with 2.5M damage.
